I hope this use of store loudspeakers catches on - imagine the fun we could have waiting for police to respond to manager calls on 9-1-1 of an unauthorized person using the PA system!
I worked WM in the 80’s during college - back when Sam Walton was still alive. He even visited our store and was very gracious.
Once he died and his kids took over is when the company went to shit. My husband who used to work for a product vendor would say that WM would try to screw them 6 ways to Sunday, but the $$$ was so big that his company’s execs didn’t care how badly the service guys were treated. WM was king and everybody had to bow down.
They are still the same. Now that Amazon is taking a piece of their sales guess who WM is punishing? The vendors. They have all these crazy rules for shipping products to the DCs with ridiculous fines for not following them off.
"Oh your shipping label is off by 1/2 inch that is a $10,000 chargeback.", ect
It's how they are recouping money without raising prices on the customer.
"Here we are on Friday eve in radio free America. employers can't find workers, workers are quitting, no one is taking the forced vaccines... As we sign off tonight, heres a dedication to radio free America! Goodnight and we'll see you tomorrow. Take this job and shove it. (cue song) "
Both of my daughters worked at Walmart for many years - one was the manager over the toy department and the other worked the floor. Anyways, they both quit and are now at Lowes. They are both happier and that makes me happy, too. :)
You know, if most disgruntled employees did this when they quit, management just might start treating people better because they would want to minimize the number of times they got called out over the intercom.
I went from Walmart co. pretty much the same way. I told all my bosses to fuck off over the walkies at Sam's Club. Haha so fun and liberating! Liberate yourself from tyranny! 🇺🇸🇺🇲👌🍻💪
Imagine how great it would have been to be in the store at the time of her announcement? Wonder how many people cheered her throughout the store? I would have been. Someone should have recorded that for her and turned the camera around to see who was cheering her on.
Interesting that some of the stores (Wal-Mart, Macy's, for example!) still can't find help, even with the Federal Benefits ended! I wonder what their excuse for being under-staffed will be now?
Their mask mandates are one huge factor the other is simply walk through the grocery dept. and look at the faces of their employees-it is like dawn of the dead soulless eyes and worn down people. The girl mentioned their attendance policy, if you have 5 absences within 6 months you can be dismissed. Yet we saw several young women have 12 or More and Nothing happened- guess why? As she said the store manager is a perv and assistant managers use their position to get Some if ya know what I mean I left Walmart as did my wife and haven't missed it yet.
Make it very public and very loud, the people who got really excited about what Covid could do for them hate that. They went all in and thought there was nothing you could do about. "Their" patience is thin and help them to make it become thinner every day.
I love her mask.. looks like one of those great breathable face masks from Fake Mask USA. I believe every word she says. Since Walmart America to our community years ago, there has been nothing but an increase in theft. I refuse to shop there.
She totally is replaceable. Am I the only one tired of seeing visible tats, ear guages, and unnatural hair colors on employees everywhere? Half the stores around here look like they're run by homeless junkies.

Check out Tom Green. He's the original.
Fucking Tom Green lol.
shout out to glenn humplick and the guy in the window
simpler times! forgot about humplick and the guy in the window. thanks for the reminder.
I was once called a Tom Green look alike in 2000 when I started college. I had the goatee and hair. Weird memories.
Saw Tom Green live, immediately after his set he came onto the audience floor and began giving everyone hugs and handshakes. Fantastic dude.
I would’ve cheered 🥳
me too if I ever set foot in Wal-Mart.
"Attention Walmart shoppers...
Shop it with a shotgun.
something is afoot at the circle k
This is my boom stick!!
I understand this reference
LOL. I can still quote the closing spiel I had to make over the intercom every night at 9:45 (we closed at 10). That was 40 years ago.
Tomorrow the new store policy in PA use will come out.
I’m so glad she made special mention of how poorly the older workers are treated!
ME TOO! I would've paid money to be in there at that moment and cheer...then walk the hell out empty handed.

The store theme went from red, white, and blue to yellow overnight when Sam died... Coincidentally so did their merchandise.
From the USA to the Chinese

I got news. They ARE raising prices to consumers.
My husband product was perishable (milk). It was a whole ‘nother nightmare.
Interpretation:
"Take this job and shove it!"

That's how you fucking QUIT. FIRE!!!

i was the fastest stocker in my aisle on graveyard shift. there were some managers that left me alone and others who were stupid saying go faster.
i said you show me how to go faster I'll do it. no one took me up on the challenge.
they also didn't like that i said you can only stock one box at a time. if you know how to do two boxes show me I'll do it. again, no takers 😂
I went from Walmart co. pretty much the same way. I told all my bosses to fuck off over the walkies at Sam's Club. Haha so fun and liberating! Liberate yourself from tyranny! 🇺🇸🇺🇲👌🍻💪
Someone find her and give her a better job.
Nice... but, it would have been more impressive if she took off her stupid mask to make the announcement...
Imagine how great it would have been to be in the store at the time of her announcement? Wonder how many people cheered her throughout the store? I would have been. Someone should have recorded that for her and turned the camera around to see who was cheering her on.
Now this is the way to do it.

Fucking nice.
I actually WANT employees like her.
I love her. How many jobs have we all wanted to be able to angrily rant and mic drop our way out the door?!
Now that is how you resign from a crappy employer!
Manager's a perv, wow, shocker!!
All I can think of is Scarface throwing a burger patty
Way to go young lady! If I shopped at Walmart I would have clapped and cheered you on!
God bless her! Made me laugh and made my day! Next!
God bless her
So beautiful and eloquent

Yes you are.
Now THAT'S how it's done!
