My religious exemption was approved, and immediately afterward I got covid from a coworker. Since I was told my tests would turn up positive for weeks following my recovery, my job has given up on trying to test me.
Which is great, because all I ever wanted was to be left the hell alone in the first place.
A coworker’s daughter was fired from a doctor’s office. She worked there for 25 years. The doctors didn’t want to see her go but the office was taken over by a big hospital years ago and they forced it on them. She tried the religious exemption and told them she was trying to have a baby, but no luck. Lawyer she went to said he couldn’t help her. I really really hate New York.
She should be able to file a lawsuit once more facts come to light.
If no facts come to light, we all will have much, much, much bigger problems.
I see many universities forcing the jab on students and faculty. I wonder if they check the vaccination status of all foreigners for all sorts of disease aside from COVID.
I think a lot of these policies are getting stuck at the lawyers level in a lot of companies. No lawyer wants to sign off on that shit if they know what they are doing. So prob many are slow rolling it until it gets struck down or paused on courts. The smart ones don’t want to be liable for Nuremberg 2.0
The mandate is toothless. There are no guidelines. There is no guideline dates that have been set by either the EEOC or OSHA.
This is why nothing is happenining. It's the same trickery as the FDA announcement. They didn't approve the Pfizer jab. It was all one big trick to get people to take the jab.
I have heard from friend that work in Federal that no guidance at all has come down. Meaning likely nothing will happen for the mandate as you said toothless
My company has stated that there will be law challenges- and they are kind of in a wait & see approach. Although they have created an app to verify vaccine & testing status 🙄
Work for a Federal contractor. Technically I’m supposed to get a weekly test, but I’m not going to do it. Invasive test on an asymptomatic person in order to be employed; yeah, no. I work from home almost 100% of the time. Additionally, the Biden mandate doesn’t give a testing option for Federal contractors; it’s vaccine only. Waiting to see what my company comes up with. As far as I can tell they’re walking the line as best as they can given the BS coming out of the Federal government. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a bit of another issue. They have not gone the Critical Race Theory route though. So, sitting tight, doing my job, and seeing how this plays out. I do know that there are a ton of us that won’t submit so best of luck for my company on getting things done if it comes down to doing things without us.
The owner of the company I work for is based, but we have over 100, so it is wait and see. He doesn't feel the mandate will make it further than the announcement.
School bus driver here in a deep blue state. No word yet. This is the hill I'm willing to die on. No jab, no invasive test. Spit test is ok. I left one school system already over this and can take my cdl and go anywhere....God will provide, let's not forget that. Stay faithful, prayerful and humble.
My brother was “voluntarily separated” from his company down in Florida. He has done all of the exemptions and forms he’s been advised to fill out, but the company is rejecting all of the exemptions.
For a long time supposedly it was not even signed.. but now appears to be, if its
EO 14043: Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees
Husband's religious exemption was approved. And it's a good thing to bc I'm a stay at home homeschool momma. I honestly don't see how they are turning down any religious exemptions! Christians don't want it!!

Nope. Haven't shown up for "mandatory testing" either.
My company is closely following the mandate. Oddly enough, there has been ZERO guidance or information released since the presser.
My company is in a wait and see mode, and so far, there has been no information to speak of.
My company is the same but they are requiring everyone to disclose their vax status and whether they plan on vaccinating.

Iooks like there are 3 camps
Camp 1. Could not WAIT for Biden to lay down the mandate law so they could use that as an excuse
Camp 2. Is biding their time after the EO to see what the impact will be to them before they try it.
Camp 3.Is staunchly against it and will never do it.

I think my job was going to do the mandate. But haven't heard anything about it so far.
So who knows.

I have a religious exemption letter from my lawyer. Hopefully it's accepted but if not I'll be taking legal steps for violation of my rights!
