Sri Lankan food is great. So is turmeric. I just dumped turmeric in the rice cooker last weekend and made a bunch of turmeric rice to have along with fajitas. I take turmeric every day for keeping inflammation under control.
I think I am gonna make Indian curry this weekend and use more turmeric.
FYI not sure how it would pertain to the spike protein but if you take tumeric you should also take bioperine (black pepper extract) as it increases the bioavailability of the tumeric by 3000%
Very interesting! This article has link upon link about turmeric and other spices and drugs, and black pepper, and it looks to me like black pepper is the magic ingredient that makes other drugs more bioavailable.
And a fat too, if I remember correctly. I used to make golden paste with coconut oil and freshly ground freshly ground black pepper. I used to spread that on my toast in the morning.
If you have an Instant Pot, this recipe is fantastic.....dump way more turmeric than what it calls for. The turmeric is what gives it most of the flavor.
I bought some curcumin (active ingredient in turmeric) that came together with black pepper extract for enhanced absorption but it just gives me a horrible headache every time I take it. For reference I took it a couple of days in a row, headaches both days, then stopped taking it and the headaches stopped. Then waited 2 weeks and tried it again and instantly got a headache again. Sucks cos I was also quite enamored with the potential benefits re: inflammation etc.
So fun fact, turmeric actually helps with inflammation by causing inflammation (hormetic stress) (headaches in your case). It would appear you are one of the people who this doesnt work well for.
It sounds like you might be a poor metabolic/digestive fit for the herb. You can also modulate inflammation by fasting, cold showers, exercise, avoiding preservatives/processed food/drugs, low carb eating, etc. I'm a dietician and I think turmeric isnt the panacea of health its touted to be. I do think for many people it can toughen their inflammation response, but we can do that many ways.
EDIT: A lot of turmeric is poorly sourced and has heavy metals in it too.
Thanks for that! +1 for cold showers haha. I’ve been doing that for nearly a year now and it’s totally awesome. Makes you feel like a total badass. Would like to try fasting sometime too.
Sounds like it could be a food allergy. But it's just as likely (if not more) to be the pepper not the curcumin. I'm allergic to black pepper myself so I can relate.
Also add more yellow mustard to your diet. It’s yellow because of the turmeric. Not a large amount, 1/2 tsp in a cup I think, but it’s still a great way to consume more of it.
Yellow mustard was Mom's secret ingredient for her meatloaf. People would ask her what it was, but she never told anyone. I thought I hated meatloaf until I had other people's meatloaf. Mom's was best.
Since this article was published, two more preprint articles have become available, both with promising findings of the potential mechanism of citrus derivatives, as well as epigallocatechin gallate, mentioned next:
From this article: “The results showed that hesperidine, cannabinoids, pectolinarin, epigallocatechin gallate, and rhoifolin had better poses than nelfinavir, chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine sulfate as spike glycoprotein inhibitors. Hesperidin, rhoifolin, pectolinarin, and cannabinoids had about the same pose as nelfinavir, but were better than chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine sulfate as Mpro inhibitors. These plant compounds have the potential to be developed as specific therapeutic agents against COVID-19.”
Now I know why I haven't been sick even after being exposed to COVID multiple times. I smoke a lot of pot to help with stress, anxiety, chronic nerve pain, PTSD, etc. I guess I can add anti-COVID treatment to the list, huh?
I live in a recreational state and can grow 6 plants now, thank God for this plant. I have treated all my health issues with cannabis: FMS, Chronic migraines, tumors (also medicinal mushrooms, turkey tail and reiki especially), chronic pain, osteoarthritis, IBS, Gerd, etc. I take it as FECO (full extract cannabis oil), I make butter, tincture, gummies, salves, and smoke a little every day. I grow at least 1 cbd strain each grow, too. I am also supplementing with curcumin, D3, 4,000mg Vit C, Vit B12, magnesium, iodine, and anti-parasitics (wormwood on the days I am not doing panacur C or quercetin, I take either Ivermectin OR HCQ once/week too). Cannabinoids assist the immune response and CBD is in clinical trials for helping with spike protein damage, and even nicotine is appearing to contain the spike protein damage, maybe why smokers aren't getting covid long haul problems. Black Cumin Seed honey is also in clinical trials in India for treating spike protein damage, I add that to immune support teas when feeling icky and bam, feel better.
I drink Tumeric & Ginger tea, I like herbal teas. I also like Chamomile tea. Had to cut out caffeine when I found out I had MD, also had to cut down on sodium.
NAC can reverse the spike protein damage. I would take that along with the curcumin/cbd and definitely a de-wormer/anti-parasite of your liking....(vit D3, HCQ, Quercetin, MMS, Ivermectin, Wormwood). Nicotine is also containing spike protein damage (lozenges), Vit b12 also helps. Black Cumin Seed honey is in clinical trials in India for spike protein help, I put it into immune support teas.
Apparently glutathione works to flush out the spike proteins the way NAC does. This journey has been as educational as it has been stressfull, to say the least.
ThankQ fren. More pieces to a giant puzzle. My homopath got me using ginger and Tumeric we did discuss add black pepper. Ginger is like an asprin. WWG1WGA
Sri Lankan here. About a few months before this Covid thing there was a severe "shortage" of Turmeric.
That's laughable because we (every ethnicity actually) in this country dump turmeric in every curry we make.
As of now it costs about 200% more than it used to be.
Clearly planned. The lower income families can't afford to pay that much for a small packet of Turmeric. All the well-off people can.
Demonic cunts.

No, not even close. Does more than vitamins.
Turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory herb. X22 also promotes turmeric in his videos. GET SOME.
Lets talk about your health...
Very different effects. Why not do both?

is this true? i must investigate!
Here's a jumping off point. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9619120/
It's been many years since I have researched this and I don't recall the different places I read about it but I am sure you can find more

I've always loved pepper.
nutritionist here, true. Turmeric needs to either be micronized or peppered

My toilet can only take so much though.
Hahahahahahahahaha!!

when in doubt, we take crushed garlic with turmeric.
Clears everything.

Would it work better if I took it before bed so I sleep through the headache?

Wow, that sucks. Try turmeric without the black pepper abstract and see how that goes.
Wish I could. It’s inside the capsule haha. I do have a bunch of turmeric though. Just gotta start cooking with it

I’m going to use it in mine!
Dave from x22, is that you? /s
Let's talk about our health. Turmeric unlocks one's superpowers.

Yes! Just be sure to have the right stuff.
And cannaboids not only help in fighting covid and anxiety, but also cists and cancers.
I use CBD oil in order not to walk stoned all day. I only need a little bit to be totally upside down.
Turmeric capsules with black pepper for better uptake. Been taking it for a few years. Helps with inflammation as well.
I drink Tumeric & Ginger tea, I like herbal teas. I also like Chamomile tea. Had to cut out caffeine when I found out I had MD, also had to cut down on sodium.
Bioavailable Curcumin. But be very careful sourcing it. It's commonly adulterated with lead to enhance the color.
Is that for people who took the jab? I know of some who are getting clots. Are they screwed?

I take a curcumin supplement. Active ingredient in turmeric.
