Yup, that's how I would shut down a country. Make it so that every truck that wants to move cargo from the port has to be one from a company that holds federal contracts. AKA Vaxable
It's not true. Trucks older than 2010 are not allowed in Cali, there are some small exceptions like 300 miles a year with a permit or something like that. Article references the 2010.
It increases rates for freight in and out, particularly out as there is much more going out than coming in.
This has been the situation for years, nothing's changed.
So this well written but buried article for California must be lying? No Dodger you’re going to have to bring sauce to now disprove my provided sauce. You don’t get to call something false until you bring the data. Until then, and knowing Gavin NewScum, I believe the info/data provided. I’m already diving in to the legislation as well.
As a trucker I bring port experience, and Cali experience. The article lost me when it said trucks needed to be 3 years old or less. Mines a 2015. I was in and out of the L.A. Port several times last month. You can drive trucks as old as 2010 in Cali until 2023 I think it is. DEF will be mandatory from then on. However they're banning the must hand DEF from agricultural areas now due to its effects on crops. These legislators are money hungry idiots, making idiot laws.
That’s a good try, but check the date. This guide is 2019. Legislation in the article was passed and signed in 2020. So gotta find up to date data my young Padawan. Please read page 2 in the legislation summary here:
Yes it is the 2016 legislation but with 2020 updates. All of the edits/additions have italics, brackets, or asterisk. The legislation is then followed by a 2020 memo letter if you read the article then go through all the attachments. You don’t think the government really re-writes whole legislations when updating I hope? They just slip in the updates on old stuff, asterisk it, and add a memo letter of approval. Soooo, as of 2020 it’s updated, per their procedures. That 2019 handbook has none of the 2020 updates.
Because they do not want to clear the ports. They want a horrible backlog. If it gets bad enough the government comes in and nationalizes shipping. Between the financial reasons and gov take over, making sure you get your Chirstmas decorations doesn't matter to them.
How could they disregard the order? I don’t think that concept could apply here, unless it was the yard workers and the truckers getting together and disregarding everything together
Its called communism. You cant have independent contractors because they are very hard to control. Freedom gets in the way of forcing the vax.

Anyone have any other info to back this claim up?
STOCK UP EITHER WAY!!!
It's a law signed by Gavin Newsome.
Newscum
California EPA standards
Yes. All trucks must be 2011 or newer.
This is why they had to keep Newsom in. This would never happen under Elder
Let me guess : The Government is manufacturing a supply shortage on purpose?
Yup. And it's mostly going to impact blue states.
Florida is open for business!
Owner Operators own their own trucks and would be more likely to report skullduggery if they saw it.
And not beholden to corporate interests
This is gonna get ugly…
It's already ugly
Here is the “sauce” poured “liberal”-ly all over the goose in California:

I agree Toolbane. Problem is Gavin NewScum is a jack@ss. So I do not doubt the info in this article is far off from the truth.

Isn’t this legislation summary from 2016?
Wouldn’t the 2019 guide be more reliable as to what actually happened?
Genuine question, not /s

Okay. That is understandable. So what’s the final rule on what trucks can or cannot enter?
I'm in the industry, we send trucks 2010 and newer into the ports every single day.
Because they do not want to clear the ports. They want a horrible backlog. If it gets bad enough the government comes in and nationalizes shipping. Between the financial reasons and gov take over, making sure you get your Chirstmas decorations doesn't matter to them.
They can’t starve us that way.
At some point we just stop ignoring the government (or at least the current one) altogether, right?
You mean you haven't already? I haven't worn a mask in months!
Patriots re keeping the Chinese shit out and joe is getting the blame. They wish they didn't cheat now, not much fun trying to run the world.
Now that is an interesting theory...Haven't heard anything like this yet
So is this confirmed true or not?
Biden is cabal.
Don't make it complicated when it's simple.
If these workers have integrity they should disregard this order.
How could they disregard the order? I don’t think that concept could apply here, unless it was the yard workers and the truckers getting together and disregarding everything together
Dosent work that way
They're using the submit or starve tactic. Not gonna work satan!
