Enabling treason and Genocide. My idea is this. All the journalists and media executives who betrayed the public are all banished to one City in the USA. (This is after they serve time or have been identified but their conduct was not enough for execution). The only way they can make a new living is to actually produce decent and entertaining content for the Great Awakening to enjoy. Essentially you want to cleanse your talent base and motivate it to survive organically.

Edit: I would make it a time limit in the city of Banishment. If you're really good, you'll get paid business trips out of the city. All paid for by your fellow freedom living Patriots. The creative need to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes you take the wrong path and realize late, you were being drawn towards a false light. When you aim towards the good light, your stabilized by a secure beacon. In between, you can still have lots of fun.
