I have been attacked by demons / negative entity in my dream, trying to suffocate me and hold me down. Repeatedly I said the lord's prayer and it got rid of the entity each time. Used some frankincense in my bedroom now there's no more dreams like that at all.
My ex Hubby when we were younger got attacked many times. The last time I was sleeping next to him and felt and heard it. It does not just feel like you are being held down,, the bed sank enough to wake me up, That is when I called on Jesus to send the evil from him and it was instantaneous. All he had been able to do was make muffeled cries, but after I prayed, he blinked looked at me and said thank you.
Similar experience with me as well. Minus the frankincense, but invoking my lord’s name while being attacked by demons in my dreams caused them to flee or allowed me to wake up. They used to bind me (paralyze me) and often would levitate me. I don’t have these kinds of dreams anymore.
It can work, but not guaranteed. The gospels have a story of their disciples complaining that nondisciples were using his name to cast out demons. But in (i think) acts, some Jewish exorcists were trying to use Jesus’s name and they got a good thrashing by the demon possessed man.
I've been reading about the supernatural most of my 50+ years & had a lot of experiences in my younger days, and I totally agree with this.
fill your mind/spirit with thoughts of Jesus and nothing can bother you. it's the secret weapon, and why I believe it's so important for people to read the Q-Source section of the Bible (common material between Matthew and Luke) it's the Sayings of Jesus, so important material in that part of the Bible; Jesus has all the answers/is the way
Only once in my life did I have a dream so terrifying, I could do nothing. I could not help myself. I couldn't run, I couldn't fight. I didn't know what to do, I was so struck with terror. All I could do was repeat the name, Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus ... got me out of that mess pretty sharpish. Of course, I am a believer, so it stands to reason. But I also believe that an atheist, if at his lowest point in life humbles himself and calls on the name of the Lord, the Lord will be there for him. Amen.
Aye same here. Was walking down a pitch black hallway in my dream and felt something put its hand on my shoulder ... like literally feel it as if I were awake. Completely paralyzed, pure evil demonic nastiness. Couldn't even form a thought of any kind. I found myself "screaming" Jesus in my mind ... 3rd time poof gone and woke up very freaked out.
One other time ran into some giant freaky demonic thing in a dream. I was in a car(?) with someone else (no idea who or where) and it very obviously wanted to get at one of us (I think its focus was whoever was there with me, felt more like I was just in the way). For whatever reason, I started singing a hymn and soon as I got to the part with Jesus in it, poof, thing was gone and woke up.
Yeah, the understanding of how 'evil' this was was really eye opening. It made it much easier for me to understand 'evil' as a real thing in real life. This dream was so extraordinary, I remember it years later. With God, I don't feel small and insignificant, I feel loved and important because He was willing to die a torturous death for ME. With that evil I experienced, I felt tiny and helpless. I knew I was no match for it. I'm thankful that God reminded me in the moment that I can always call on Him and He is there.
That leads me to believe one of two things. Jesus Christ will actually save you from these things. You are manifesting these things somehow and deep within your brain you expect calling on Christ to stop these things. Anyone think of a third thing?
Satan is creating these demonic episodes then providing you with the escape name, Jesus which stops it in its track. You then give power and worship Jesus, who we know as the Son of God. Or I sure hope He is!
Well biblically speaking Jesus said some will say they cast out demons in His name but he will say I never knew you, when speaking about those who deny Him here, He will also deny.
Id say the Name of Jesus IS literally THAT awesome and powerful and the highest authority to stop anything evil.
But even if its true, what good is it if someone casts away demons but then spend eternity with them bc they also denied Jesus Himself
Seven Sons of Shiva comes to mind. Christ’s name or cross shapes etc have no power on their own. The wielder had better be in right standing with God, in other words.
I had an episode of sleep paralysis many years ago. I don't know for certain whether I was awake or dreaming, but I was where I thought I was -- in bed, in the middle of the night, with a window near the foot of the bed. I was lying on my back and there was something shadowy pressing on my chest that I could still easily see through. I was totally unable to take a breath or move. I mentally thought, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, begone!" Instantly, the pressure was gone and I could breathe again. It was pretty scary.
Fast-forward to two years ago...I was diagnosed with sleep apnea after suffering for a couple of years with insomnia. I now use a CPAP machine and I sleep like a baby now. And, no, I'm not overweight. Quite the opposite, as a matter of fact. It took several years for my doctor to figure it out, mainly because I didn't fit the mold whatsoever for sleep apnea.
Now, was my original episode simply sleep paralysis brought on by sleep apnea, or something else all those years ago? Who knows? All I can say is, my invocation immediately caused it to go away.
I've also experienced another odd phenomenon. I'm asleep, but I'm dreaming I'm exactly where I am physically. I get this total feeling of dread come over me, like I absolutely don't want to be where I am. However, I have no control over my body and I can't move. Then, it's like I have an invisible cord coming out of my head and something takes hold of it. It will spin me around in circles on top of the bed, then drag me over the side of the bed and continue to pull me around. When I wake up, I'm still in bed. It's really weird and spooky.
Read about astral projection. The cord sure sounds like the tether of the spiritual body to the physical one. Unsure if you are unwittingly having out of body experiences or what. I’m super interested in what you think, please either reply back or dm after you get a chance to look into it.
I used to be super into trances and trying to astrally project (before I was a believer) and I had a few very creepy experiences that made me shut all that down and never try again.
I suggest a very strong connection with Jesus Christ and live almost like a Mennonite to handle astral projection, telepathy, remote viewing, xcetera without having emotional or demonic baggage.
Also an interesting story of a scottish man in the U.S was abducted and the Aliens apparently tried to convert him to Christianity. Well its "real" as he was scottish, he was in the U.S, he reported the story to the police i think...
I have Never experienced anything alien related, but in general every time I invoke the Lord Jesus, He heals all the dark thoughts and worst moments, no matter the cause. It’s pretty amazing I’ve had bad nights where I ultimately fall soundly asleep after a genuine prayer.
I have had sleep paralysis. It is just one centre in your body waking up before the others. It is a frightening thing but once you realise what causes it you can relax...it doesnt last for long.
How does that jive with fake healers who use his name endlessly? Mega church con men/women? Was it Graham who recently stated Jesus would want you to take the vax?
I'd say that this is a different situation. OP and the comments so far are talking about the power of an individual's heartfelt appeal to Jesus as their savior. Your example is of a person using His name to project power external to themselves, possibly using the name in vain.
Mark Twain wrote "You can't pray a lie." But it's possible that a person can lie a prayer.
What you are describing is not what OP posted or claimed. He says nothing about a "heart felt appeal". In fact, states the opposite. "Demons (aliens too) can be stopped instantly by saying or thinking "Jesus Christ" regardless of the persons faith or spirituality, majority were atheists". The words are magic, at least at close range. Otherwise, I would already have exorcized the neighbors.
I guess OP can answer for himself, and you demonstrate that I definitely stretched a bit on the interpretation. Even so, he implies that the phenomenon is linked to a person's prayer for themselves. So I think my paraphrasing of Twain still applies. But we'll see if OP chimes in.
I don't want to speak for everyone but investigators claimed it was 90% found a belief in Jesus Christ when they were being actively attacked by demon sometimes for hours or repeatedly for years at the worste.
I'm on board with this. My own awakening to spirit confirms it. But for materially-minded people, defining an objective standard for "attacked by demons" is a challenge. As ever, the devil is in the details.
they are breaking the 2nd commandment. bearing the Lords name in vein. people think this refers to swearing, but the word bearing is pretending to be speaking for God/Jesus when you are not.
I have been attacked by demons / negative entity in my dream, trying to suffocate me and hold me down. Repeatedly I said the lord's prayer and it got rid of the entity each time. Used some frankincense in my bedroom now there's no more dreams like that at all.

That sounds like me. I learned to pray in my sleep when under attack. As soon as I say Dear Father in Heaven it would end.
Similar experience with me as well. Minus the frankincense, but invoking my lord’s name while being attacked by demons in my dreams caused them to flee or allowed me to wake up. They used to bind me (paralyze me) and often would levitate me. I don’t have these kinds of dreams anymore.

I have heard that devout virtuous Buddhists call the name of Buddha, also instant flight of the demonic....

this site has several outlines of the Q-Source.

A third? Sure I’ll bite.

Jehovah is my name of choice
I learned about this in one of Jonathan Gray's books. It might have been 'The Forbidden Secret' or another like 'Dead Men's Secrets'
In my experience when being anal probed using "Jesus" as a safe word doesn't work at all.
Alien abductions stopped by using the name of Jesus:

Once attacked by the devil , another time close encounter w/ alien grey, both times the Good Lord's name scared the evil away....
I have no link to back this up but have heard that these things from "space" also very much hate the sound of a Shofar.

Yes, it does work.
BTW, what is Mufon? Thanks.
Probably Mutual UFO Network.
Hmm. Alright, thanks.
I just want to share this relevant talk Unholy Communion: The Fourth Kind Unveiled - Joseph Jordan and Guy Malone
Either every person on this entire thread is a fed mocking the people on here, or they are 100% batshit fucking insane

Not all healers are fake.

bible says this sin wont be forgiven...
Amen. I have called out the name of Christ Jesus to save me from spiritual attack in my dreamscapes.
