Now the other Chicago unions will be upset. Why is the police union exempt from needing the mandatory vax... but firefighters, EMS workers, street cleaners and other city employees all are required to have the vax?

People in differently colored uniforms are treated differently. They should be shouting racism.
I mean really, isn't COVID-19 worse than AIDS/HIV/Ebola/SARS/H1N1/etc.? How can that be if you grant any groups exemptions? Won't they just keep the pandemic going? Aren't the unvaxxed the biggest threat to flattening the curve? Won't this mean continued lockdowns and not return to normal?
I asked most of the above over Thanksgiving to my unvaxxed relatives. You know what? Even the most militant pro-vaxx of the bunch had no comeback. And I am pretty sure (because they consume the MSM) they'd never thought in those terms before.
Those unions should fight and should never have capitulated. Unions have often been su verted by co solidarity mass numbers and installing a commie figurehead.

While encouraging I find it tough to call it a win. This is the Democrats playbook, coerce people to do blatantly unconstitutional acts picking off the weak, then retract when challenged. If there’s no repercussions for the executive branch when they completely ignore law then there is no rule of law.
