Are isolated “bands” of severe weather common in December? Serious question.

yeah what is that shit ? ... because AUS has had the same stuff - they claim its "la nina" ... we just started our summer ... geo-engineering 100%
There is such thing as geoengineerinng but I was born and raised in the south and crazy winter storms aren't uncommon because the weather will shift 30 degrees I'm 2 days or less sometimes. That sets up perfect conditions for sever weather. It isn't new at all. I believe most geoengineering is long term things like drought and climate manipulation not so much spinng up random storms
Our winter weather in Georgia depends on where the wind blows.
From the south west - warm
From the north west - cold
In ALL things.
For example, when they tell you that hospital beds are at 95%+ capacity, call the hospital and ask them how many floors are closed because of not being needed. truth is, the hospital does their very best to run at a 90+% capacity for effeciency. They close down floors, and put staff 'on call' in case they need to open more beds.
And dont even get me started on employment, unemployment, job growth statistics etc.

We are being lied to in ALL THE TIME
I wish I would have taken a screenshot on my radar from the 11th. These storms look identical.
If you log these severe events on you calendar, after several years you will see a pattern. Nashville, dec 1, 2020 severe storms that set our winow burglar alarms off. Dec 11, 2011, severe storms that set our motion detector burglar alarms off. Etc etc etc.
Lightning strikes so close to the house it messes with the electronics. How do you target a house with weather and cloud seeding and chemtrails?
Its called weather.
In December though?
And this far north? (Minnesota)
This is the best comment I have read all week. Not everything is manipulation and it is dangerous to start thinking everything is fake.
HAARP
Didn't Biden say The best way to prepare for a natural disaster is to get vaccinated? Its all weather manipulation folks. Look it up. It's been possible for decades.
POTATUS is end of message
started during vietnam war to increase rain to slow the enemy on the Ho Chi Min Trail. Operation 'popeye'.
It seems like it is. I'm near KC and chemtrails have been heavy lately. What happened last week looks more suspicious than the storms we had tonight, however I could not help but notice the long-time KCMO weather anchor kept saying how unusual this weather is for December. They both have in common that they were a long thin line of storms.
Central KY here, I wanna know what the fuck we did to piss off whoever's screwing with the weather. Is it cause we went for Trump in both 2016 and 2020? cause ffs. On top of what we just went through now we had Biden visit today AND we have a weekend of rain? We lucked out and didn't get any storm damage (hell our power didn't even flicker) but so many here have lost everything and now this.
WeatherFagging. Less predictable than DateFagging.
Lmao or forcastfagging?
I thought that's how meteorologists made money?
yes.
In fact here in the So MO hills known as the Ozarks, most of our big tornadoes happen in Nov & Dec.
West & North, in OK, KS, IA, NE they get smashed in the spring. Same with Deep South like TX, LA, AL, GA. (Alabama is AL, right?)
But the mid south sMO, nAR, KY, eTN danger time is right now.
Thank you. Usually there are other storms around them tho. This seems unusual.
Well, as far as I am aware this is the first time that there have been tornados in Iowa in December. Ever.
I live in Nebraska. The storm came through. It was scary, because it was so fast. This is a huge system, and the wind beefore and after has been incredible.
Not many people talk about the sun cycle and the fact that the sun is entering a low cycle. As the sun spots either increase or decrease, climates and weather patterns are affected. Volatility is the name of the game. There will be more anomalies. And dumb people will say it is due to global warming... but it's the sun cycle that drives our climates and daily weather.
We just dealt with a derecho here last year that devasted us, 120mph straight line winds, 50% of our trees gone, weeks without power.
Feels like we are getting a smaller round 2 later tonight
Our Alarms are going off right now as I type
Go to the basement! But make sure Joe is hiding out down there!
Are you ok?
Makes me wonder how many Native Americans living on the plains were overcome by weather over the centuries. Stay safe.
Yes, and trust me that thought had crossed my mind many times this past year in the sense of others who have been in much harder scenarios. Huge trees down through all my neighborhood, a big limb came through my roof into the kitchen(wife and I at work when the storm came thru). We are pretty young, first house.
But I was extremely worried about the damages, clean up, the stress of all that's going on in the world on top of it.... And eventually I realized that I don't have it rough at all. So many generations before me have left a lot more on the field abd here I am with a home, wife, good job for good org, and frankly not a lot of real troubles growing up. Spending the next weeks chopping wood, doing cleanup, not having power for a while and no internet for a month was really humbling.
Very complimentary to the great awakening I was already going through, and am going through. No matter how hard or fucked up things can get there is always so much more to be grateful for.
You have a wonderful perspective on life👌Even though you're right that others have it worse, that still must have really sucked. Good for you for seeing the bright side🐸
Well said. And I am glad you were not injured and can manage the cleanup.
Minnesota is supposed to get 60-80 mph wind. And we never get tornadoes this late up here. Tornados with ice is a scary thought.
Yeah, the wind is like a low level hurricane. Stay low!
We had that in Colorado today too. Wtf?!
Its unseasonally warm. Shit like this happens when warm, moist air collides with cool, dry air.
There were major chem trails before the tornadoes last weekend. I thought I saw a post on here yesterday that was predicting bad weather tonight based on more heavy chem trails they saw
That reminds me of the 2012 derecho: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/June_2012_North_American_derecho
Bro yeah that knocked out power for like half of ohio for two weeks it was insane. Crazy times.
Not at all… Cold or warm When cold its ice and snow. When warm, its thunder rain and tornadoes, esp when warm front hits a cold front.
I’m that sweet Kansas City dot. When I looked up the radar around 1:30 I saw that crazy shape and thought that’s fcked up. Showed Grama and she said the same thing. We’ve had INSANE wind the past 15+ hours and this storm was super weird. I love watching our unique mid continent weather but this was way different. The wind is still crazy and the storm has been over for at least an hour.
Lots of chem trails today in southern Missouri. Natural disasters my ass!
Where I live can get lines of storms any time of the year, as long as there is enough heat energy. It's the difference in temps on each side of a front that determines the strength, not the absolute temperature.
I've seen lines of storms cross the country as long as TV has had radar, and they start out very strong in the midwest and weaken as they approach the east coast. The same system that flattened buildings in KY just gave us a little wind and rain.
I don't know about the radar imagery, but if the temperature falls within the range of established record, then I wouldn't give much weight to it.
I recall 70+ degree temperature on New Years day in the 1970s. People were sail boating on Lake Michigan that day.
SO... Have you been watching the nightly fearcast again... Seriously, Weather does that. Always has as long as I remember. We used to have blizzards, get snowed in for weeks and we worried Santa couldnt make it.
Snow storms, yes that I have heard of and rain storms but never tornadoes this time of year. I am just a new resident to Midwest/South from Evac. from Left Coast
I live in Eastern North Carolina, one hour east of Raleigh. YES, very much so! I just looked at our weather forecast for the next few days. It’s been in mid 50s during day for a few days. Thursday - Friday highs 70-75, Saturday it’s 60 & rain. We get winter thunderstorms bringing in a cold front. The storms going over Appalachian mountains are usually worse than my location. The mountains break up storms. I’m in my 50s, it’s been like this over thirty years. (Probably longer I wasn’t into keeping up with weather during school.) We occasionally get nor’easters come in off the coast.
Our magnetic poles are shifting quickly. I can imagine that being one of the causes if not THE cause.
"Since the 1990s, its movement has quadrupled in speed, to a current rate of between 50 and 60 kilometres (about 30 and 37 miles) a year. In late 2017, the pole's sprint brought it within 390 kilometres (240 miles) of the geographical north pole."

I've been outside in shorts, love this global warming stuff
