I suggest to anyone that hasn't tried it to just pick up a small bottle of something " amber " or if you want something with more woody flavor go for dark color. also try warming it up and bare in mind that it'll be a little thinner and pour faster than the " pancake syrup " so many of us are familiar with.

I have a big box of mix and a big bottle of syrup unopened, both with Aunt Jemima on them. I am saving them, gonna tell my grandkids it is a picture of Harriet Tubman.
Interestingly in October 2019, I received a box from UPS filled with 10 boxes of Aunt Jemima pancake mix in it. The address was mine but the name was not. Was very strange, I checked my amazon and things to see if somehow my account accidentally ordered it, Nope I didn't order it.. I kept it, it was probably meant to go to a restaurant. There is no way we could eat that much before it went bad so I gave 75% of it away to friends and family. Now I wish I had kept it all! I saw a box on Ebay for $100, because it was original packaging... That was a small box too.
