The tide has turned and I have noticed that I am usually the only un-masked in Home Depot or Alberton's here in sunny La Mirada California - about 15 miles east of Los Angeles.
Most times I there are few interactions with normies and the check out people never say anything regarding the posted mask requirement.
But, three times in the last week I have been confronted by customer normies.
Next time I want to be better prepared with a rational response.
Here is what happened:
1st - While pushing his cart passed me, a masked normy mumbled "jeez - put a mask on". I ignored him.
2nd - Standing in line, a double masked normy grunted under his mask when he spotted my naked face. He than turned around and told me to distance, since I was mask-less. I said that there is no distance requirement and that I don't wear face masks. I held my ground and he paid and left. I saw him commiserating with other masked normies in the parking lot as I walked past him to my car.
3rd - An masked, obese unhealthy, 60+ year old man in line told me that if his arm was not broken he would kick my ass - fyi I am 60. I told him to get a life and I held my ground. He continued complaining to me and the check out girl until he paid and left. I stayed silent. The check out girl had nothing but kind words for me after he left.
Next confrontation I am going to be prepared with something like this:
"I cannot wear a mask safely. I have a medical exemption, I am suffering from pragmatism, common sense, and the love of liberty."
Thoughts?
Im part of the control group. Im risking my life to save yours. Show some respect.
This absolutely creates a mental lock-up of normies.
If they persist, you simply say. "Do you not know how much trouble you can get in if you get arrested for interfering with a government run pandemic program?
Follow up options:
"Do you even know what a control group is? You do trust the science, dont you?"
"Have you been ignoring your Face Book alerts? You better get in there and acknowledge them before they catch you."
"You do trust the government and the CDC dont you? Do you think you know better than the NIH, or something?"
KEK!
I like this
I always tell them I already had covid, twice. And have more natural immunity than 10 boosters and am not scared of getting a weaker variant because it is free immunity booster.
I then go on to explain that it was like a bad flu, did knock me out for a few days but that I suffered no long term effects and I feel that people's fear is causing them to become more ill than necessary.
Do you really believe you had it twice, or is that just something you'd say? Dr. Peter McCullough insisted you can't get it more than once when he was on Joe Rogan.
Not sure. I know I had it once for sure (worked on a construction site on a new bank) , got it from some other contractor and got a nice free 40 hour vacation and a positive antibody test.
Got sick like 9 months later was similair but never did the antibody to confirm.
Both times felt like the flu although I had a higher fever on first round.
Hmm. Thanks. I do wonder. Dr. McCullough was adamant with Joe, who said he had a friend who had it twice. Dr. M. said, what you have is a friend who had it once and also had the flu. I wonder how he can be so certain, though he is an epidemiologist, so he ought to know.
I had no reason to get tested 2nd time as I needed it for "proof" to get the free 40 hour vacation first time around and the 2nd time didn't get that offer.
I probably just had the flu the 2nd time if I had to guess and be technical/correct, however I still tell normies I had it twice to jog the noggin'
That probably doesn't help tbh. My first thought reading that was "If your immunity is so good how did you get it twice?" If you think you only got it once I'd just say you got it once.
Would you mind telling me what exactly you went through that first time? You said you had a higher fever the first time. How high? What other symptoms did you have? Vomiting? Chills / sweats? Aches? What did you experience? Thanks.
About a 102. At night I had sweats sometimes and chills like a normal flu feeling. The one thing that seemed different is everything felt like an effort even moreso than when you are normally sick. Just got winded easy almost like I started smoking again. Never threw up or had the shits. Just had to lay down for about 2 days but after that felt on the upswing. I did take the Dr. Z vitamins and quercetin as I had no HCQ or IVM. Drank a lot of water as I sweat more than I had chills. The one part that stuck for a while is the everything felt like an effort feeling where I wasn't 100% aerobically or muscle fatigue set in faster than usual for about 6 weeks I felt normal again.
2nd time I was sick only a slight fever barely over 100. Also didnt have the lingering fatigue like first time around.
Thanks very much. Appreciate the details. Seems like it can be quite different for different people. Glad yours wasn't too bad. Laying in bed sleeping for a couple of days sure beats vomiting your guts out.
A recent interaction in a Safeway:
As I look at veggies, store employee says, "Sir, do you have a mask?"
I say, "I do."
"Would you put it on please?"
"Thanks for the reminder." I do nothing, then say, "These sure are nice fat parsnips. Is there a new supplier?"
He says, "Not that I know of."
I pick two nice fat parsnips and continue shopping. It felt like a victory of sorts, but I have to say the heart was pounding.
I've done that a few times. Once I even accepted the blue mask they handed to me and stuck it in my pocket, and they didn't seem to notice.
But lately they're getting more insistent.
I always LOVE getting my big sweaty man hands on two really nice big "FAT PARSNIPS" !!!
Tell them you've been tested and you are Magative.
"I'm not playing pandemic theater"
Say you have a medical condition. If they ask what, say, you are not supposed to ask but if you must know I have C. S. If they ask what that is, answer, " COMMON SENSE "
"You can't tell me what to do."
"Why not?"
"Because you're not wearing your swastika."
"Jeez put a mask on"
"No"
Handled well
Proper response: "Ok, tough guy"
I kinda wish ANYONE would go mask Karening at me, I've had a "Get Fucked" chambered and ready for over almost 2 years now.
"Masks are not helpful. They are only harmful. Do your research. Think for yourself. Stop acting like a slave. YOU are the problem."
"Broken arm or not, you wouldn't have the guts."
"You distance, if you are that afraid of the people around you. Better yet, stay home."
"Wake up. Take off the slave mask."
Maybe something less confrontational: "You are being lied to. We are all being lied to, by our government and the people we trust to tell us the truth. Think for yourself, and do some independent research. Masks are harmful, not helpful. Have a good day."
Nice!
Say, "no comprenda Englisss" then say "Me an immagrent..."
Or call them a Racist Germaphobe. Then tell them that all the trashed masks are building up in the ocean and land fills and causing climate change and killing wildlife. Call them a racist science denier if they question that.
Kek! Funny
“Eres Un Karen, pendeho”. Works as well
We haven’t worn masks around my town in over a year (Texas) but
“If you really think this virus could kill you then why would you risk your life for a (find something in their basket to lift out) a bag of potato chips?” “I think you are full of shit. You don’t believe it either”
Or if it’s a cashier “You risk your life for a minimum wage job? Bullshit! You don’t believe it either!”
I just say "I'm immune because I don't watch TV."
Just don't respond to tyranny, anon.
Silence is golden.
You are under no obligation to say anything.
If anything, say something witty, short, to the point, like "I'm against tyranny", "likewise", "Leave me alone, thanks." Go back to being silent. If they flip out be ready to warn them with equally witty, short, to the point statements like "I'm giving you one warning to back off, thanks in advance for understanding".
Smart!
This actually works:
Normie: "Where's your mask??"
You (politely): "Sorry sir/maam, but I have CSS."
Usually, that's enough.
What's CSS? Common Sense Syndrome.
“You seem to believe masks are protecting you since you’re wearing two, so I am no threat to you.”
I say something similar. “Do masks work?” Of course they say yes. Then I say, “well YOU are protected, don’t worry about me.”
Ohio has been well past this, for almost a year. However, when it was an issue "medical condition that makes it difficult to breath with a mask on" was my go to. And, if pressed on what condition it was, "coronavirus".
They don't give a shit what you do or say if you are not wearing a mask. Its the Agent Smith effect. Their eyes glaze over and only recognize that you aren't 'on their side'. It doesn't matter if you have facts or medical exemptions.
Just tell them you can't understand them through their face diaper
My go to response is, "I have C.S."
I think your responses have been just fine. Every interaction is different. That said, there are some good ones in the comments.
Sometimes I just smile. Or whistle. Or say hello.
Here are a couple of threads where I was confronted over the past year.
Looking back, it was good to have some sort of facts for my response.

I've looked into this extensively and there are over 100 studies that demonstrate masks don't work. As a result, I don't participate in mass delusion.
Mask delusion ;)
Haha, yes. Much better.
"Fuck off"
This is what first came to mind. Sick of all the clown world bullshit.
I'm going to start saying I have a medical condition
"Freedom of Will"
If you wear glasses just breathe through your shirt onto them and show them the fog. Viruses are much smaller than droplets. Masks don't work. Now, fuck off.
Don't say a word just raise hand to ear,, move mouth around and around and use fake sign language....like old time Clutch Cargo cartoon.
It's A Clown World afterall....WWG1WGA 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷
"I'm allergic to bullshit."
At least carry pepper spray, so u can put distance between you and the attacker's if you need to....
Cough in their direction.
How about a simple, "I don't wear a mask" Why? "Because I don't have nose trouble like you"
Something along the lines as the following:
"It's been 2 years now and you and me are still alive, I've had it real early on so have immunity and I will bet good money you've had many vaccines, wear your home made muzzle, so which part of the so called science don't you agree with"?
Followed by: "If only you had been so cautious with all the STI's, chlamydia, and influenza bugs before ehh"
My Country Tis of Thee ! Put that in your "Pantie Liner" and suck in some of that "TRUTH" - friggin Karen. "AMERICA" land of the FREE . . . Commie F+=K.
With a "Smile" all the while !!!
