I believe this "narrative" is falling apart..Davos (WEF public arm) just finished their meetings a few days ago..hence the new narrative and them releasing some of the mandates..the tactic I believe they are using is a "pressure release"...they push you as far as they can..til the ppl rise up and say no...then back down..too many ppl have woken up to this..however they still have gained huge ground...until the next push...their new focus?? FYI "Supreme Court" in NY is actually the trial court or lower court. Still good.
Important point.
New York is unlike other states. If I remember, NY courts became so corrupt that there was no fixing it, so they just reorganized everything.
"Supreme Court" does not mean a REAL supreme court like it does in other states.
So, this decision can be appealed.

Also, the only reason for this decision is that the legislature's temporary (unconstitutional) law has expired. So, governor cannot implement a policy for a law that is no longer valid.
However ... No mention of what happens if state legislature does it again.
It's unbelievable. The government needs a constant beat down because they are always going to try to overstep their bounds.

Just got out of a meeting. News of this broke during the meeting and everyone is very pleased. Word from the meeting is that everyone's going to send their kids to school without masks and watch the Covidiots blow their fuse.

Great question. What you are referencing is the EO that cuomo made. He signed an Executive Order attached to the declared state of emergency regarding the pandemic that enables businesses to enforce masking just like they would for shirts and shoes. That has long since expired.
But, if you read carefully the court's decision here (which aparently not many people have), the court has found a problem with the way in which hochul enacted the mandate. She did not actually make an executive order, it was a decree; but every one fell for it. After cuomo was making EOs left and right the state legislature signed into law that all EOs and EO extentions regarding the pandemic need to be run by them, the legislature. hochul did not do that and thus this ruling. There is a good chance hochul will go through the proper hoops this time and the very democrat legislature will accept it and the mandate could come back.

Everyone. The ruling struck down Loco Hochul's mask mandate order.

One good thing about this, here in NY, is those of us who are prisoners here, will know which businesses are totally leftist if they continue to post the mask signs on the entries, and try to enforce mask wearing. It was not always possible to know before (I only had one place ever have anyone tell me I had to have a mask, or leave, during this latest "covid surge". The place was a "Habitat for Humanity" store where they sell donated items), but will be more obvious now.
OK so now what do we do with these tyrants?
Every one of these strikes against the mandates is another weight tipping the scales in our favor! Great news!
