Easily the biggest reason I LOVE the convoy and went out to cheer them on when they went through my city is because it has brought all of us into the light. There are tons of videos of many towns and cities with hundreds or thousands of people out in support.
The media here and all around the world would have us believe that we are a tiny minority of the population and they've squashed gatherings and protests as much as possible.
They can't stop this. They are trying. Shutting off traffic cams. Not showing actual footage of all the trucks or talking about how long the convoy goes on for.
What they won't be able to hide is all the videos dropping on alternate platforms of the people in Ottawa once they get there. We have the power and we're taking our freaking Canada back!
It brings a tear to my eye to know that it's people in my country inspiring the world right now. I've teared up numerous times watching videos on the "freeconvoy2022" IG account. Our government works for US, not the other way around.
No need to apologize that's more of a Canadian thing to do. But all of us have the same common enemy and this fight is global. We just don't have the beauty of a bottom-up constitution like the US and 2nd amendment so I also look up to you.
It was 70 kilometers on day 2 right now its over a province wide. The front end was just getting in to Thunder Bay Ontario while the back end was just entering into Manitoba. It is 591 miles wide as of yesterday.
Remember that this convoy is one of THREE convoys.
There is a western convoy coming from BC, an eastern convoy coming from the maritimes and a southern convoy coming from Windsor through Toronto east to Kingston. PLUS thousands of American trucks coming through the border.
I'm proud of my fellow Canadians who are standing up, but I have to admit I'm a bit concerned with the complete lack of opposition from the Government. RCMP standing down? Military? My spidey senses are tingling. I really hope it isn't a trap.
