My husband was going to lose his job next month for refusing the booster. This group helped us a great deal throughout the process. I’m crying tears of joy and relief that in CALIFORNIA my nurse husband was granted his religious exemption and will be able to keep his job!
I’m praising God for His answer to our prayers and I’m so grateful to this group for all of the wisdom, advice and support! Thank you!
Is there anyway that you would be willing to share the letter?
It’s actually so weird, he didn’t send a letter! We were working on one but his hospital changed the policy and it was online and no option to include a letter.
I am hoping my wife has that option soon. She has an extention into February due to having catching Covid in Dec.
It’s so weird actually… we were working on a letter and had several sources we were working from. But his hospital changed the process and only gave him a box to check and not a place to include a letter.
Wow, that’s awesome! Congratulations!
Thank you!
There is something afoot. My daughter did a medical exemption for a very large corporation. The first form was very invasive. Before she could submit it, the company sent out a much less comprehensive version. It sucked for our friend who filled out both! It was approved within a week. Thank goodness.
We as a family have been blessed also. Husband and daughter got medical exemptions at large corporations. Younger daughter is a state employee in a red state and it looks like her USAF Reserve recruiter protected her from having to get vaccine. Just a hunch on my part based on events... I am the only one waiting on my religious exemption (federal contractor at a small company.) Company has been very quiet for months. I am cautiously optimistic that I will be fine...
Praise God for His provision for your husband and daughter! I’m praying right now for you and your process!! Please come back and keep us posted on how it turns out!
Thank you for the prayers. I am very happy for you!! I felt the exact same way when husband and daughter got their exemptions. Huge relief!
Except that by putting in for the exemptions - we played into their game by validating the need for an exemption in the first place.
However, I was trying to protect a 21 year earned pension. Yes, I am one of the few people in the company with a 'protected / grandfathered' ACTUAL Pension! Have the standard 401k also, but the pension was worth enough that I didn't want to play games with losing it over getting fired, vs retiring (which was also an option if it came to the Press To Test moment). I tried - actually a rather vocal group of us - tried to get ANY answers to our questions about what would happen if we didn't get the Jab, and also did not get an exemption. Neither Corporate Management nor HR EVER REPLIED to our inquiries....
(Yes, I have known horseyPatriot for over 30 years.....)
That’s awesome! I have been wondering how an RE would shake out for anyone vaxxed but now not wanting boosted to be compliant. Glad to hear this change!
Wow, that's interesting. It's almost like they are going to be automatically granted. Either way CONGRATS to you and your hubby!
My husband's company wouldn't allow a letter. He had to complete a questionnaire put together by their attorneys.
Interesting how there are so many different processes for this now. Praying for favor and a positive outcome for your husband as well!!
Thank you! He got his exemption, praise the Lord! I was replying to another comment on your post.
I can share what I wrote if you want. It was approved a while back. It was a form with a few fields for long text.
Please
There were other prompts but the answers were all similar.
Prompt: Please explain the religious belief, observance, or practice that prevents you from getting the COVID-19 vaccine. You do not need to identify an affiliation with any organized religion or faith community.
Response: 1) It is my sincerely held religious and spiritual belief that my body is a temple. It is my sincerely held religious and spiritual belief that the best and healthiest foods, medical interventions, or prophylactic treatments are of purely natural origin. It is my sincerely held religious and spiritual belief that I must not ingest, inject, or otherwise allow artificial, processed, or man-produced foods, medical interventions, or prophylactic treatments into my body. 2) It is my sincerely held religious and spiritual belief that everyone is a sovereign unto himself or herself, with autonomy over his or her own body. It is my sincerely held religious and spiritual belief that for a government, employer, or individual to wrest this inalienable right from the sovereign is a gross infraction of U.S. law and morality.
Praise the Lord!! When my husband got his exemption, I was overcome with gratitude. I had prayed so hard. So happy for you both!
I'm happy for ya'll, but I can't help feeling an overwhelming sense of disgust that exemptions are still required at ALL and that these mandates can illicit such anxiety and fear in people who're just trying to live their lives. This is America, dammit...or it used to be. Sorry, didn't mean to go dark. I am truly happy for you both!
So happy for you fren, the Lord is definitely watching over you. We are praying for my husband to get his medical exemption agreed. His doc totally agreed with reasons but we are still waiting for decision of some petty paper pusher. Praying God helps them to make the right decision.
Praying for favor in your husband’s process, for wisdom and peace in the waiting!! Please keep us posted!!!
So happy for you guys!
Thank you! So much to be grateful for!!
They didn't "Grant" it like it was a privilege. They were forced to recognize his RIGHT.
Rights don't come from government or corporations, they come from God.
Congrats, Focker! kek. Seriously though that’s great news!
Lol!
All the time!!
Praise the lord,great news.
Amen!
That makes me very happy. I'll be much happier when they are crying tears of pain for causing so much trouble in our lives
I pray that justice is done to those who purposefully caused these things. I’d rather it be now than later. It’s hard to be patient.
Frankly you don't have to pray for them to pay. They're going to pay one way or another.
Thanks be to God.
Amen!
Awesome! Solid win.
Thank you! So grateful!!
Praise God in whom all things are possible!🙏
Amen!
If he waited they would have just kept him anyway. Theybare already begging my daughter whonquit her nursing job at the hospital three months ago to come back.
Instead she is being hired by a company that is only hiring nurses who were fired or quit for not being vaxxed. 25 percent t increase in pay and big bonuses. Musical chairs for medical personnel. When the music stops only idiots will be left working for the mandate hospitals.
I dont see that anybody has a right to decide if another person is religious enough ?
"Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition". This is a time to celebrate victories and not lose sight of the evil that has permeated our workforce. People grateful for not losing their job for not taking an experimental poison into their body? Oh how far we have fallen as a people of the Nation known as FREEDOM. This country belongs to us, not them.
I hear you! Definitely not losing sight and much more to fight. This is a victory in a war. It shouldn’t have to be, but it is and it’s a step in the right direction. We are still fighting for mandates to be dropped for our kids and so much more.
God is for us and is fighting for us!! I’m grateful for every victory He gives us along the way!
I’m giving Him all the glory!
So wait he got a religious exemption for the booster… so he’s vaxd?
Weird, I wrote a response to this but don’t see it now so I’m trying again…
Yes, we both originally go the vax before we realized what was really going on. We massively regret it to this day and pray that we don’t have negative side effects…
But once they started coming after our kids we knew the line had been crossed (obviously they crossed the line LONG before that), but it was our awakening moment…
We have both refused the booster and refused any vax for our kids. My husband knew that he’d likely loose his job for standing up but he was convinced it was the right thing to do. We didn’t know if they’d grant a religious exemption after he’d already taken it twice. But we gathered as much info as we could find, gathered people to pray with and for us and when he went to submit the appeal he was only able to check a box online and not submit anything else. We are very happy and grateful to God and to those who helped along the way.
Wait…so he’s had 2 shots, just not the booster?
Glad he held the line. My wife is an RN and she caved in to the pressure. Weeks later she conceded she felt coerced.
ya but hes still a male nurse :P
So happy for you and your husband. God is great!
Great news!!!!
Still, language matters in shaping thought. IMO it's not GRANTING the exemption, and it isn't a REQUEST of a superior body with the authority to "grant or deny" your plea, whose word is final.
Instead, employers get PUT ON NOTICE and INFORMED that they are violating the law and liable to be sued. Then the smart ones choose to "stop breaking the law, asshole" and ACKNOWLEDGE your God-given human rights. There's no request, and there's no granting of a request, as if you wanted time off to go get your hair done. There's "Either you honor my civil rights, or I bleed you dry."
Time for patriots to go on the offensive for a change
Best wishes to you and your husband
Congratulations!!! So happy for you! What a nightmare to have to go through all of that. But I’m glad to hear that they did right by you.
Now they need to drop the stupid testing requirements and mask mandates.but I’m celebrating every win as they come.
