I think it's more about pointing out the hypocrisy.
Socialist claim to speak for the working man, hell some of them actually believe it, but in reality they're mostly self-entitled brats who turn their noses up at the people who keep their homes safe, warm, and well lit, and ensure there's plenty of fancy delicacies from around the world for them to eat.
It's because they don't really understand how economies work.
I tried to tell so many of these people you can't just turn the economy off and on like a light switch, but they didn't get it and wouldn't listen even if they did. It really is like a religion in all the worst ways.
To be clear, I'm not anti-religion. I'm just saying there are some less than savory aspects to religious practice, particularly organized religion, and socialists display all the worst traits, including dogmatic faith in their chosen "prophet."
If I'm being a bit more fair, it about living a sheltered life, free of hardship. They don't really understand reality.
Not even joking, fiance came across a post on failbook from a chick who said we didn't need farms anymore, because we have grocery stores... And according to him, she want joking.
