Torba posted a message of support and welcome of TruthSocial. He is of the opinion that it will grow the parallel economy synergistically and therefore threaten official big tech and government censorship of wrongthink. He had far less animus if at all then the MSM has against TS, by the coverage.
Hmmmmm. I take this as Torba should stay his course, like Trump had to make some consessions for his platform to free the normies from bot farms of the tech titans, but had to limit speech on his Platform so he can distribute info to the masses. Torba has the potential to make a Christian tech ecosystem that's got fundamental American values at its core. Whole this on the surface appears to be a public feud it may be Trump wants him to continue as an Alternative that will eventually out perform Truth. Torba has a massive following and may be able to pull it off. I'm not a fan of some of his views but he might be able to lead the way in certain areas.

I'd take anything Torba says about GAB with a grain of salt because of the obvious conflict of interest Torba has with his GAB and any competitors.
Gab has a core of devoted users that are not going anywhere. The threat of TS is to Twatter, Insta, TikTok, and Goolag, imho. Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt is not originating from Torba as a kind of disinfo/misinfo marketing campaign - it is naturally occurring from the role out. I say this as a gigantic, early (if not first) supporter of Trump and MAGA, Like the market now, there will be more than one participant. TS is not about creating a monopoly. Banning Torba is an error in messaging, marketing, and engagement.

Depending on how the image was made, if it was set up like this by Andrew himself, it shows that he is threatened by TruthS. He deliberately cut out the @ DevinNunesCow to make it look like it was himself that got an account deleted. Reality is that a person trolling the CEO of TruthS on multiple platforms got banned. I don't disagree with this move.

That twitter account (whether this one that was banned is affiliated, I have no idea) was a parody account. Nunes sued for defamation and lost. I can see why that particular account name would not be allowed on TS.
Whatever is going on here makes no difference to me. I am just waiting to see how this all plays out once it goes fully live. Discernment.

Can't use big tech backbones to go against big tech. It will still be useful to grab more normies but I do not feel this will be a true free speech platform if its using AI moderation and has a shitty ToS

I want this to succeed 1000%, but am a bit worried if anyone has followed other services trying to use AWS and other big tech backbones.
They let them grow but if it becomes a competitor or threat to them they will pull out the infrastructie on them.
Maybe that is what they are hoping, so they can break up big tech once they get censored.

Child Porn - should be censored.
Any Porn - should be censored.
Threats - should be censored.
Anything else that breaks the (Constitutional) law.
I think all of those can just be replaced with #4.
That said, this is likely all nonsense. Why would Torba want an account on Truth Social? He wouldn't -- he wants Gab to be the alternative. Did he actually get censored, or did he do something intentional to get banned? Did he even get banned, or is it a fake screen?
Or maybe it's not nonsense, and the site has a strict "no fed" policy.
It's not even his account. Unfortunately, porn in general is not illegal, so you can't ban it by "legality status" even though almost all porn is made via illegal means (to say that the law was broken in some way). Even the "consensual" videos are often not (according to interviews with those who broke out of the sex trade and spoke out publicly).
Porn is illegal to distribute without the ability to restrict the age of the viewer (cannot post pornography on billboards -- adult video stores keep windows covered). Therefore posting it on a social media platform that does not accommodate "adult material", is like selling guns out of the back of your truck.
