Nobody wants to find out that something they've loved all their lives is rotten to the core. People have bonded with Disney over decades, growing up watching Disney cartoons and movies, singing its songs, loving its characters, saving up for months or longer to take their children to Disneyworld, where they made wonderful, happy family memories. True Disney lovers are not going to believe Disney is evil until the evidence isn't just murky rumors of a dark underbelly, but out in the open and undeniable. That hasn't happened yet, though there are clearly cracks in the facade.
I don't know when Disney was corrupted; whether it started out corrupt, or was gradually infiltrated the way everything else in our societies has been.
It's tragic to find out that those we trusted have been evilly hurting and manipulating us, but if we can identify how and when the corruption happened, we can take comfort in the fact that it was actually something good once.
OMG! My husband's sister and her family are EXACTLY like this! They can't get enough of Disney World. They make the trip down there several times a year. They are Biden people so I'm sure they won't believe any of this. So sorry for their small grandchildren whom they take along.
I realized something was terribly wrong with Disney after the death of that little boy in the lagoon. Any park that entertains millions of people a year should not have alligators lurking on their property within proper protections in place. There is also this Creepy Pasta from years ago that didn't help my stance on Disney:
Disney land mostly consists of 80% standing in line for overpriced food or for a ride and 15% of your time walking to the food or the ride. When you do get to the ride most of them feel like they take 5 - 10 minutes. Maybe if they had a first of the line pass that works for all the rides all day (like Universal) so I can do all the rides in one day I might visit again.
I know dis. I just thought it would be funnier to throw in some really mundane, uneventful destinations in place of Disney World. Kind of like "I'm going to Dollar General!"
There are many people who order Disney+ simply because they have kids and believe it's kid friendly.
And, yes, plenty of people have quit watching sports because of the wokeness. Some people who wouldn't bother doing research will make the right choice once they discover the truth.

I canceled all this shit summer 2020.... haven't missed it at all. Plus if there is every something you want to watch (rarely for me) you can hit it on putlocker or some dumb site online, and then it's just old movies I already have on DVD in storage in the USA.
I sold my DVC last year. Best decision. I seen this coming for a while....
