IMHO the reason for the whole war is that NATO was expanding and threatening them. If Ukraine joined NATO they would be fucked and it would only be a matter of time before Russia was attacked.
I don't love Russia or Putin, but I think this idea that this is all about their aggression is not accurate. If they sat back and did nothing they would be screwed.
Given that we lied to them about NATO expansion as well (the promise from Baker was NATO would not expansion east if Russia did not interfere with German reunification.), I don't blame them.
Even more impressive is the yield of what they can arm with for the cost.
I was laughing when everyone was pointing out they used old hardware for the initial invasion. You always probe with deprecated hardware. Why risk the good stuff.
It’s not considering Russia still sends Cuba military assistance and are even considering putting Russian troops on the ground, which is why its strange that Putin sees the US providing military assistance to Ukraine as provocation, when he’s actively doing the same in Cuba.
If Russian troops do ever touch Cuban ground now, I’m almost sure it would mean a declaration of war, as it would for him if US troops touched Ukraine ground.
The whole point of NATO was to threaten Russia. At its inception it extended to halfway through Germany and now it is right up to the Russian border in places. Even now, Ukraine is a "half-NATO" country. They are getting advisors, weapons and finance from NATO.
Russia had a worse war than the entire west, including Germany, all added together. Most western nations seem to enjoy wars in other people's countries. Maybe if the MIC found itself under some Tsar Bombs the world would be a more peaceful place afterwards?
NATO must expand. Otherwise, it can no longer justify its existence. Trump understood this and was working towards dismantling it. The goal is total global domination governed by the West - specifically the US deep state - or at least that is what the real puppet masters will allow them and us to think. There is always a line in the sand that allows everyone to take sides. The script this time just happened to write in Russia and its allies as being one of the sides. The formula has been used time and time again.
This is larger than Putin. He is not a lone actor. He must have cooperation. My understanding is that his support has been growing and that is pissing off the power brokers - specifically the imbeciles at State manipulated by the military industrial complex jumping for joy at the amount of money they are going to make over the dead bodies. Still, all of them are only tools for the real elites that prefer to remain in the shadows. Where Putin and company are on this spectrum of players remains to be seen. Is he trying to wage war against global domination of the elites, or is he just another means to the end?
Now I have been hearing talk about NATO expanding beyond Europe into the Pacific rim. We are in a world war already and the puppet masters will benefit no matter which instrument comes out on top because they play all sides - or what appears to be different sides. This is the game they have always played and the masses get sucked into it every time.
I know that most of the old timers on this board are well aware of the playbook. But for the sake of the newbies lurking here that may not have had the benefit of hearing this angle before, I submit the thought for consideration. Nothing is what it appears to be. Narratives are spun for our consumption to drive us into predetermined Hegelian dialectic outcomes. We must be mindful of the manipulation and do our best to step aside and not to become taken in by their offers of choices between bad outcomes. Be well my frens and survive to rebuild. Nothing can stop what is coming.
Yes. It needs to all be dismantled. In the mean time, I do not plan on being one of the lemmings running blindly towards a predetermined cliff somewhere. No thanks, I am getting off this ride and going the opposite direction. Be well and stay strong fren. The fertilizer is headed our way.
The false assumption is that Russia would think NATO would attack Russia from Ukraine. NATO would have no interest in trying to invade Russia. Would any country want to invade Russia? I guess their oil reserves could be an attraction, but the cost of an invasion in money and lives would far outweigh the value of the oil, and it would be very unlikely outside forces would be able to conquer Russia.
The threat would be biological weapons and internal dissent, leading to (ta-da!) REGIME CHANGE.
Remember that it has been revealed that the Ukrainian army was preparing for a massive attack against the Donbass, to wipe out the ethnic Russian population. This had been timed for something like February 28th. Russia invaded on February 24th.
I am sorry to say I don't recall a specific source. I do recall it being commented on in several places that I read, without much fuss or objection being made about the allegation. It was surprising news, but it surely would have explained the timing of Putin's move. I think that must have been why such a large Ukrainian armed force had been gathered near the Donbass.
Putin jumped first, quickly got to Kiev, and pinned those forces in place so they couldn't reinforce anyone, and had the rest of the invasion proceed along the east and southern borders to consolidate the Lugansk and Donetsk, hold key cities, and attain some of the main objectives. Now they are in Phase II, the encirclement of the UKR forces in the Donbass and wearing them down in a "cauldron" of barrage.
Exactly. The cabal was using the Ukraine because they were on the border of Russia to try to destabilize Russia from within. They did the same tactics with the country of Georgia and funding the chechnya rebels.

Russia is playing the long game thank goodness.
The restraint when you really look is impressive.
Even more impressive is the yield of what they can arm with for the cost.

I would LOVE to see President Trump, Putin and Xi as joint leaders of GF-3
G-Fucking THREE. Screw the rest of those globalist turds.
😂☝🏼
3 headed dragon?
Ghidorrah?
Ghidra?
NSA program?
And you keep your best troops, equipment, and air assets in reserve in case NATO wants to FAFO.

well said, you know when the USSR put missiles in Cuba, we weren't too thrilled about it, how is this different?

Needless to say paramilitary is the way now.
Official troops is so 1960s.
Either way the reality is we declared war on the world in 2003 by completely making up our reasons for invading Iraq.

Well said.
Well said this exactly, NATO should go down either before or with the cabal it’s over for them we can’t let the lies and fear overtake us.

There are a lot of factors here, not just one.
And I don't think NATO makes any decisions. It is a treaty.
Remember the Cuban Missile Crisis? We came within an inch of nuclear war because we didn't want Russian missiles in Cuba.
Russia is in trouble. They are losing population at a fast rate. Their economy is based on oil and gas, much of it pumped through Ukraine.
People act like Putin is a nutjob, but the reality is that if they did nothing they would be in serious trouble as a nation.
