This is politically stupid and cynical. This promised vote and the “leak” likely ensure the ruling will stand. These five Justices were fully aware of the repercussions of this ruling and still chose to do the Constitutionally right thing. These antics should and will likely galvanize their resolve to stand firm.

Yes, I think the left realizes they are losing their own base over Roe v Wade. They are being destroyed and eaten alive on both ends of the political spectrum. Schumer is throwing this out there to say, "See what we're doing? We are working for you." It's a base rally cry and since they are too dumb to know how laws are created and what the US Constitution allows, it's all for show.
Consider that about 75% of Americans have taken at least one Covid "vax" shot.
At least 60% of Americans have taken two Covid "vax" shots.
Roughly 1/3rd of Americans have taken two "vax" shots + a "booster vax".
That likely means that anywhere from 25% to 40% of American women are now effectively sterile. Some won't be capable of becoming pregnant, while others will have nothing but pregnancy complications and miscarriages.
Also, since the Covid "vax" is found to affect the testicles... up to 25% of American men are probably shooting blanks, or have deformed (or damaged) sperm.
Couple all that with the increase in blood clots, cancers, heart problems, neurological problems and VAIDS... and the Left probably feels that they don't need abortion to reduce the population anymore. They simply worked with government, big pharma and the Main Stream Media to render people sterile (or dead).
Then there are those of us who refused ANY of the "vax" shots. We are the 25% who saw through their scheme.

Doesn't matter. You cannot make unconstitutional laws. You can take it back to SCOTUS.
According to the U.S. Constitution (remember that old thing?)... all bills must originate in the House.
The Senate can codify and vote on whatever it wants... but it's NOT a bill that can become law unless it begins in the House.
