This is not a church of God it is an apostasy. Hell will be filled with false prophets.
I was so pissed when I read this! A drag show in church? Let them know how you feel about this church doing the devil's work! https://www.unitedstateschurches.com/florida/naples-united-church-of-christ-naples/13788
That’s exactly what I’m doing! These people are evil!
Good job fren. We all need to do this. Bombard them with emails, phone calls, etc. This really infuriates me. I'm going to be totally relentless. The church is actually going after our children.
I wrote the most condemning, scathing email I could muster. We all need to bombard them with calls and emails. Thanks for posting this. We need to do more of this kind of posting and involvement and then sticky these posts so lots of us can respond.
I actually got a reply from them today. At the top of the letter was my email to them. They said they were going to pray for me. I don't want them to...Also, did you receive a reply yet?
Nope not one and I sent two more emails asking for some kind of response. My first email was pretty nasty so I don’t think they want to have the convo.
Let's continue to bombard them with mail. Phone calls are great too. Be relentless. Your voice matters.
No. They just destroyed themselves. The only solutions dissolution as that church has no spiritual leadership representing Jesus Christ.
Screen name ✅ checks out.
This is the United Church, after all. A good majority of them seem to be very pro-Alphabet, and anti-Christian. Are we really surprised here?
I'm very familiar with the Church of Christ here in the states and they are really straight down the line and from all the ones I have visited are good Godly people but look at that...add "United" and all the sudden the globalist satanic agenda becomes the priority. You hit the nail on the head.
The thing about Church of Christ is that they get a bit too fixated on what is and isn't mentioned in the Bible and can't just relax on some things. They say that musical instruments are mentioned in the OT but not the NT, so therefore instruments are forbidden in their church. I had some Church of Christ doorknockers come to my door once and I was like, "It's alright, I'm Christian." "Well, how do you know that you're saved? Did you ask Christ into your heart?" "Yeah, sure." "Well did you know that the Bible does not specifically say so, and that is just the Campus Crusade for Christ's narrative?" I wasn't going to entertain their pointless legalism and politely closed the door on them.
The Church of Christ is like the Farm to Market version of Christianity. The benefits are there are no additives, no sugar, no process. On the other hand, it's bland, raw, and its buyers are intolerant of everything else.
So the acapella singing is nice. The lack of rituals and embellishment is nice. But the whole "Everyone but us is going to Hell" is very isolating and fosters ignorance.
But their disdain for the United Churches of Christ is totally justified.
I have yet to encounter this "everyone but us is going to hell" amidst them and I pray I never do. Anyone who would condemn someone else to hell is not worth listening to. Revelation shows that there can be faithful people even in a sinful congregation so there can also be a few bad in a fathful congregation.
Playing the advocate for sake of discussion. If II Tim 3:16-17, wouldn't you want to be concerned about what is and what isn't mentioned in the Bible? I have seen legalism in it's full swing and it's just as detrimental as being a liberal and I don't see room for either in the church. And I'm not sure I follow the interaction you had with them and mainly (I think) the term "Campus Crusade" is unfamiliar to me. Do you mean they were trying to stress the importance of Baptism for salvation?
Never heard of Campus Crusade for Christ? The man behind that is the one who came up with the simple prayer for salvation ("come into my heart" etc) and the Church of Christ ilk don't like that, and believe that the only way to salvation is through baptism. No, baptism is a statement of faith. I just can't be bothered to argue with them. They aren't bad people, but I don't want to deal with them.
Oh okay, but no I have never heard of that...movement would you call it? Or is it an organization? You will love this then...I actually wrote a thesis on why I believe baptism is essential for salvation. This is the conclusion I came to after reading and have found for an unbeknownst reason to me that a lot of people are against it which I really don't understand. Without getting into your favorite discussion (I will not reply because I'm sure you know all the verses that talk about it as well) can you tell me why you don't think it is necessary?
A soldier has just been fatally injured on the beach at Normandy. A Chaplain is there to pray and the soldier accepts Christ for the first time in his life. The chaplain says, "Well crap, we need to baptize you, so the Chaplain runs back to the water to get some seawater to baptize him, but a German grenade blows his leg off. As the Chapain lays immobilized, he calls over to the soldier and says, "Well nuts, it looks like I won't be able to baptize you, now that my leg's off and all. It looks like you're on your way to hell after all. Good luck with that." The Chaplain, of course, is Church of Christ.
Let's say that same soldier is deaf, mute and lost all motor function in his body. Now he can't accept Jesus verbally, through signing or body motion. I don't think anything, extenuating circumstance or otherwise goes unnoticed by God. There are puzzling situations in all walks of life but thanks be that we serve a living God who is omnipotent.
Not OP, but I would like to hear what you have to say.
Hey, well the thesis is 5 pages long and I'm not sure it could be sent here but the very basis of it is that all through the book if Acts, every conversion of a person to a Christian ends with them being baptized and also Jesus gave the commandment in Matthew 28 to go into all the world teaching and baptizing. And Mark 16:16 some people say that the original manuscript of Mark ends in verse 8 and your bible is probably marked with something saying this so I use this one sparingly but in vs 16 Jesus says it again and this goes with what he told Nicodemus in John 3:3-5. Very short but this is what I would say in an elevator going up 10 floors. Haha
I forgot you can send messages on here I'll copy paste my whole thesis to you, please forgive the format loss.
Campus Crusade was big Christian ministry on college campuses in the 70s and 80s along with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. CC did a lot of evangelism with 4 main points to get kids to accept Christ.
Baptism means immersion but in what? Could be God's Word which is the most important thing a believer can do. As pertaining to salvation the moment a person first believes in the living God our savior Jesus, you are baptized with the Spirit of God. That being said he orchestrated that, you didn't. If God doesn't come calling you ain't responding.
Also water baptism is an abject heresy.
Why, in Acts 8, when Philip preached Jesus to the Ethiopian Eunich did he command the chariot to stop? And what happened to Cornelius and his household after they recieved the Holy Spirit?
1611 KJV
John 1:32-33 [32]And Iohn bare record saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heauen, like a Doue, and it abode vpon him. [33]And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said vnto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, & remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the holy Ghost.
The book of Acts is a history book giving account of the actions of the Apostles, the addition of the 12th Apostle Paul and the day of Pentecost along with the beginning of the early church. Those actions aren't necessarily doctrine. Like Peter pushing circumcision to the heathen. He was rebuked by Paul.
The message from Spirit guided John the baptist was clear, baptism in water would be superceded by Grace and immersion of the Holy Spirit. Furthermore water baptism was only for the house of Israel.
Pushing any works and tying them to salvation is a heresy and false doctrine.
If your pastor pushes that crap then cancel him. If he's a grifter for filthy lucre cancel him.
I discount no part of scripture. It is all the perfect word of God. And so any verse you post I will nod in agreement with what it is saying.
Peter pushing circumcision (a return to the old law) and being chastised by Paul for it; which is written by Paul in Galations does not mean we discount the entire book of Acts written by Luke just because it is the history and introduction of the New Covenant (Acts 2:36-38).
Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:5 - "No one can enter the Kingdom of God unless they are born of the water and of the spirit." We absolutely receive the Holy Spirit.
As for works and faith. They are both extremely necessary and it's heresy to say they are false doctrine for....James (Jesus' brother) mentions the dire importance of having both. James 2:14 - "What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?" James 2:17 - "Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." James 2:18 - "But someone will say, 'You have faith and I have works.' Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works." James 2:20 - "But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?" James 2:21 - "Was not Abraham our father justified by his works...? James 2:22 - "Do you see that faith was working together with his works and by works faith was made perfect?" James 2:24 - "You see then that a man is justified by works and not by faith only..." James 2:26 - "For as the body without the spirit is dead, faith without works is dead also."
If I'm going to be judged by the word of God on the last day I'm going to believe the entire Word of God. So many want to pick and choose to suit their own beliefs. I am not so bold as to tell the creator of the universe that I don't agree with what He said and will change it for Him.
"It's important to teach children about oral sex so that they will learn not to hate... it when we try to shove our cocks in their mouths."
Who's children are going? Where are the parents? Snoozing?
The reality is… christ would be throwing up right now if he came back to see how perverted , a religion he didnt even want to be associated with, has now become. The church is a satanic pedophile cesspool… the bible had been updated over the centuries by these same people to fit their narrative. What people can’t comprehend is that you can have christ as your guide, and savior, while turning your back on organized christianity and the bible… the great awakening
It matters not the denomination or religion. I knew a Franciscan monk that traveled to many churches as part of his ministry. He was old school, pious and very honest. He told me that the devil is in the church and I'm not surprised. So many now are "woke" and leading people astray. False prophets take advantage of the parishioners hungry for good news and hurting inside. They perform a show and can't wait to check the collection total. It's not about God anymore. It's about virtue signalling, money, power over others. So much perversion hiding behind the veneer of holy. .
I will email write a letter and make phone calls whatever information you gave I'll use . I'm so sorry I can't imagine, undeluded evil!
Someone should pretend to be a pro choice fucktard and burn that shit down. They will be released immediately and charged with the lightest possible sentence
Terroristic, but ok. Go forth, soldiers.
Just highlighting the hypocrisy
Y’all know what to do with that registration link. Go to!
The event should be stopped, the "church" is full of the gay. Shame on them, they are in for a terrifying suprise if they don't repent, Jesus is the saviour and Son of God not your buddy that lets you do what you want
I hope all members of the community get out publicy to call attention to the disgusting behavior of this "church". Our kids need to be protected. Let us know how it goes
This is pure evil. Homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord.
I think you’re good for a little while up that way. This place will be full blown liberal 5 years from now at the rate things are moving. The city of Naples did mask mandates even though collier county said no. You guys started enforcing the law with the bums begging everywhere at the intersections and we went lenient on them so now they all came down here.
That’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t be wearing the mask and I wouldn’t have paid shit. Such ridiculousness.
Well, homosexuality is the height of self worship and the lowest men fall. The Bible says they are void of judgement and they demonstrate it.
It's a church, they lie when they call it Christ based.
Big counterfeit and obviously theybare good with people.living in captivity. Christ came to set the captives free. That is not a Christian Church.
Funny there is no mention of Jesus anywhere for that event. Hmmm.
Oh well...there'll be plenty of butt sex , so that's great
This guy is a teacher. He and his "partner" have adopted two boys.
Here is a grant application he filled out where he states that he sponsored a sexuality awareness event at Gulf Coast High School. https://cdn.fedweb.org/fed-55/2/Shaw%2520Barrus.pdf
So while thinking about the church, consider the daily grooming going on in the school by this guy. Consider the two orphans he is profoundly affecting.
And regarding the grant application: Every....single....time!
It’s disgusting how deep the swamp runs. Right here in my local neighborhood. People never give a shit until it hits home so my goal here is to tell everyone i know about this in hopes it’ll wake them up. Couple years ago, blm shit down us-41E here in Naples right by 5th Ave which is the ritsy yuppy area. They took over the entire road and then blocked the entire thing. The police finally made a wall when they got too close to the rich folks homes but didn’t do a thing up until that point. You’d think that would’ve woke some people up but nope, right back to sleep. It’s almost as if the problem has to arrive at their front door or a place they love in order to open their eyes.
Monkeypox is hitting its stride just as Gay Pride Month is about to start. Maybe it will keep the freaks inside.
Now there’s a positive outlook!
This blasphemous before our God and the creator of Nature. For starters there is no such thing as a "LGBTQ community". Why are such disparate mental disorders lump together? There is no 'community' with very different mental disorders. And these disorders should never be normalized and promoted by any Christian church. For those that don't understand the differences of behavioral traits of each of these letters of LGBTQ, let's look at the investigative author Steve Sailor's research on the vast differences between lesbians and gays:
Lesbians are not gay. Gays are ravaged by AIDS while lesbians are untouched by AIDS. Why is this? It's because gays are promiscuous having high sexual activity level while lesbians are chiefly monogamous having a low sexual activity level. The chief behavioral operant of lesbians is that they hate men. Lesbians view gays as being denatured and pathetic and deserving as servants to lesbians. So how are they a community? There is really little solidarity there.
I believe it is important for us to be able to identify the enemy of God and in order to battle the evil that pervades our society. The enemy is within the gates.
Collier County:https://www.glsen.org/chapter/collier-county
Head Office in New York: https://www.glsen.org/glsen-leadership-and-staff
can an organization be called "grass-roots" if it is part of a national network of people subverting our children?
This type of thing needs to be addressed at the top, and only by cutting the head off the serpent.
This is not a church. A church is a house of worship in God’s presence, with God, to God. Calling this a church, does not make it one. They are calling this a church for all the protection and tax incentives it affords. Calling a cat a dog does not make it so.
Sir, that is not a church
Pride is an oxymoron
Generally, you show pride in yourself, by showing respect for yourself and others
Think of the message these same youth would send if they worse suits, ties, had bathed, and looked like they were respectfully and someone you would actually associate yourself with
Instead of being a caricature of themselves; they would look like rational, intelligent and human beings you could talk and learn about.
But, that’s not the path they chose - or ever even consider
This is not “the church.”
This is A “church.”
