Glorious. Normie business owners who barked like dogs for QR codes will now face the consequences of being faggots.

I'm more concerned with small business owners that sank into horrific debt just to stay afloat during the lockdowns. With costs rising so precipitously, I think we're about to lose even MORE small businesses.

Thank God for Hagerty, but Marsha? I’m not so sure- she voted to place sanctions on Russia, because they were “invading” Ukraine... Keep Tennessee red! 🇺🇸🐸

Marsha Blackburn needs to goooooo. She's mostly fine, but she just copycats her betters. I'd rather have one of the men who she emulates take over her position.

She does fine. She represents her state well. She's one of very few Senators who always begins her arguments with a reference to people in her home state. She's consistent on her values and her voting. I personally don't like her slower talking and the way she sometimes presents herself, but that, too, reflects her home state. You can say she "copycats" her betters, but she's in rare territory more often than you think. Jan 6th, she was one of 10 who held out against the certification asking that there be a delay of 2 weeks to sort out the fraud allegations. Only 10. This one too. She was one of only 11 to vote against the Ukrainian money laundering package. Give her credit where she deserves it. She may come off as that genteel Southern woman, but she's got a Scarlet O'Hara streak in her too.

There are a LOT of other Senators who need to go long before Blackburn does. Murkowski, the corruptocrat out of Alaska? Romney, the closeted Democrat out of Utah? Susan Collins, the pro-abortion "Republican" out of Maine? Miss Lindsay Grahamnesty who never met a foreign war he didn't like? Cocaine Mitch, the Chinese pond turtle and official representative of the CFR?

Direct your fire at the enemy, digital soldier.

I haven't followed her or this story.

But if she voted no for both Ukraine money laundering package and business bailout package, then that can be defended.

The federal government has NO authority and NO business dishing out free money gibs to anyone.

Having said that, if they are responsible for harming people because of their other unconstitutional bullshit (like lockdowns, face masks, vax fraud, etc.) then it is only right to correct that harm by (a) providing financial compensation, and (b) prosecuting the criminals who did it.

But other than that, the federal government has no authority for any of this bullshit. IF that is her position, it is fine with me. If she did something else or for some other reason, then she is suspect.

I live in Tennessee. I'm not turning my fire on her, she IS my fire. I want different artillery and I vote HERE.

It won't mean much to you, but not everyone in Tennessee is thrilled to have our representative take the form of an antebellum sorority debutante from Brentwood. I imagine the folks who hit the like button on my post are from around these parts..There are other things when you know her and her family, but it's not worth getting into.

I didn't suggest she's on the Miz Lindsay Graham immediate-removal-list. I suggest that if someone in this great state--preferably a guy with experience building himself up among Tennessee's great unwashed peasant rabble-- who has the right principles wishes to run against her, that person will have my vote.

This is Tennessee, bud. You can relax. We're not sending a demoncrat to the Senate. She's fine. But she's had her stumbles, too. And it's okay if I want somebody else to take her place. Let us handle our strongly red and defiantly pro-Trump state and you handle yours.

Is it possible that some politicians who are trying to do the right thing and are on the right side who have just been deceived into believing that Ukraine is good and Russia is bad. If my husband who is a conservative Christian is, along with possible half of America, why couldn’t a politician? Are they all privy to all knowledge?

First of all, if it is true that the U.S. is trillions in debt, we ain’t afford aide to Ukraine, let alone small businesses and restaurants. I say if it is true, because we are going along with what we hear via MSM. I believe every government agency should quarterly report the funding they receive and their expenditures. They must then be independently audited every 1-2 years, no exceptions. Any false reporting will hold those involved accountable with prison time, and automatically disband the agency. Everyone needs to succeed or fail based on budgets, whether government agencies or small businesses/restaurants. No exceptions. The taxpayers are not your piggy banks. Why should we have to bail out banks, auto industry, small businesses, restaurants and other countries. Doing this only rewards inept management, woke companies, inept government bureaucracies. I am tired of funding stupid “research” projects like the mating habits of grasshoppers. Research should be self funded. We are giving tons of money to colleges and universities who kick us in the teeth with wokeism, denial of conservative speakers, mandating shots for our children, racial equity programs, all black spaces, gender studies, etc. Taxpayers are funding Planned Parenthood to the tune of $500,000. They should be self funded via donations and client payments. NPR last I knew received taxpayer dollars. I am not sure about the ACLU, but they sure have deviated from their original purpose.

Look at it this way: We are taxed on what we earn. Money going into an IRA is taxed at a higher rate on withdrawal. Your social security is taxed if you make over a certain amount by working or withdrawal of savings. You can’t get social security without taking Medicare. The government has it planned to keep you down and enslaved financially. If you are a business owner, who lies, cheats, steals then you succeed financially because you have the tax loopholes to work around and shelter your income. You have the money to pay CPA to pull every loophole, honest or not. You also have the Deep State sucking you in, in order to stay in business. The small business owner doesn’t stand a chance against big business. Either the mob puts the screws to you or the paperwork and expenditures do you in. The Deep State cabal has everything planned to enslave us.

What's sad is how many here will still defend "muh capitalism" despite how painfully obviously rigged our system is... Now of course some of you might respond with something about this being an example of communism and while you're not totally wrong, if you aren't providing a solution, you're just another shill making noise.

Capitalism just leads to more tyranny if there are no regulations as the "free market" ceases to be free once one person or business buys out all the competition. Well thankfully we have antitrust laws, a proven socialist concept to counter some of the corporate corruption. But as we can see, it's not enough. While I do agree with abolishing the income tax, abolishing regulations altogether is foolishness. I mean, even Trump proved that some government intervention can be a good thing when he forced the lowering of prescription drug prices.

If we aren't willing to come together with our fellow Americans to figure out a system that's fair for everyone, then the plan is pointless. If you are STILL bullheaded about "muh Capitalism" despite the obvious corruption and rigging, then you haven't been paying attention.

The answer isn't capitalism. Nor is it socialism or communism, but rather the good ideas of those systems, the proven ideas in US law and even some in the European system- I mean for fucks sake "all men are created equal" is in our founding documents and we've allowed for a system to exist that does the opposite. No more.

The problem isn't Capitlism and free markets. It is man's propensity for evil, especially when they are unconstrained by morality (specifically, Biblical morality). Our Founding Fathers warned us of this very thing.

▲ 1 ▼
– G45Colt 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0

Those are good points. I'm all in favor of capitalism, as envisioned by the founding fathers. At that time, it was very difficult to remove all competition on a national scale, or even on the state level. Every town of any significance had it's own general store, or three, a blacksmith, saloon, etc. If someone rose to national prominence, it was through a superior product and/or service, and competition could pop up anywhere to challenge them.

We need a level playing field, and some way of preventing a handful of people from controlling every boardroom of every major corporation. And we need to remove all the secret societies with their handshake agreements and control over their fellows through the evil things they participated in together.

This reminds me of Walmart. They succeeded in small towns because they provided products that the local mom and pop stores couldn't match for price or variety. But how much of that was due to cheap Chineeze imports? What if they were forced to buy American, and had to franchise stores in small towns where the corporation doesn't own or run the store? How many of these big retail corporations are structured as real estate holding companies under the guise of being a retailer?

Just trying to throw out ideas for discussion....

Guess what? If your business ain't booming, it's because you shouldn't be in that business. Failure is how the market tells you your business isn't going to make it. The market pays successful businesses.

For the preservation of the page itself. All web pages are vulnerable to manipulation, seizure or outright DDoS/deletion.. Makes it easier as well if you want to archive it for yourself. Works for keeping people honest and for capturing data if access to it somehow gets lost.

Also for some websites (such as MSM), it doesn't generate a hit on their website, which would allow them and their advertisers to get paid. In this case it is more for preservation though with the information being volatile
