The ONLY escape from God's wrath and an eternity in hell will be those that have accepted Jesus Christ and His payment of your sin debt by His death on the cross at Calvary. It's just shameful. Shame is not pushed in our culture. Remember when people would cry out, "For shame!!!" That's gone now. BTW, narcissists do not feel shame, no matter what they do. Because they are "entitled", and deserve whatever they want. Shame is a good thing when it can move someone away from a sinful or otherwise detrimental activity. But you don't see a lot of it anymore. We do hear "That's nothing to be ashamed of!!". But, guess what? There's a lot to be ashamed of. We humans are made in the image and likeness of God, and many of the things we do ARE shameful. I won't get into the gay thing, but they've got some 'splainin' to do when they blithely brush off any hint that what they do is perverted and, indeed, shameful. This also indicts heterosexuals as well. I am noticing an uptick in mentions of "swinging" activity of married couples. Ya wanna think about shame?: Look at THAT!!

I can think of a few better months to celebrate.

1. Constitution month (celebrate your freedom!)
2. Veterans memorial month (honoring fallen hero’s and their families who sacrificed so much for said freedoms)
3. State sovereignty month (celebrating the fact that we don’t have a “King” ruling all the land - yeah, we’re close to that)
