Google is not the only one doing it. And its not so much men being underpaid, but women being overpaid. Ive seen several instances where an under qualified woman was paid more than an over qualified man doing the same job side by side.
There are a lot of feminists in corporate America that have a clear agenda to prop up womens salaries.
If every company did this they would see the same.
Men are also far more likely to be fired for outbursts and overly emotional behavior.
My son works in an IT department in California. Their CEO wouldn’t let them hire a competent male until they hired a female, both of the females interviewed did not know the answers to multiple IT questions. They hired the female with good customer service and are training her to do IT, which she really didn’t have the skills for. My son also recently sent a resume to a gaming company who touted their diversity. The response back was they were looking for more diversity for the job- another words he wasn’t female, gay, black or trans! Job hiring is now working against the white male. Companies would rather pay for diversity than skills.
Assumption as well, but it took me like months to find a job that was either remote or within an hour of my house with work experience and a degree. Guess who makes more though?
More recently, some tech companies started bumping up pay for its minority groups in order to retain/grow their minority population. I've also heard some startups doing this "diversity bonus". Not sure how that isn't considered discriminatory
It's almost like nobody there thought to look at the data to realize that the "wage" gap was really an "earnings" gap that is explained by the different choices men will make compared to women.
Although all the points about men being more assertive, negotiating harder, putting in more overtime, and choosing higher paid fields are all true, even if none of those things were true, women as a collective would STILL earn less overall just because they are the ones who give birth.
And men tend to retire with the same company after putting decades of service in. Have you ever met a woman that retired at the same company after working 35 years for them? I haven’t.
Why does this remind me strongly of the study undertaken by some liberal "think tank" or whatnot that had intended to prove conservatives are dumber than liberals but ended up proving the exact opposite?
Wonder if it's because democrats and other liberals are incapable of processing objective, shared reality; so they replace it with fake news, disinformation, misinformation, propaganda, and silly transparent lies that fit the fantasy story they're telling themselves inside their pointy heads about how men can have abortions, humans can control the climate by paying more tax, and toddlers can have sex with adults.
I'll leave with some humor from the velvet-voiced Mike Rowe:
Imagine there is a 99.975% chance you wont crap your pants, but you're forced to wear a diaper anyway, just in case....Now imagine you're forced to wear a diaper to keep your neighbors from crapping their pants.
Wait..?.. you mean these woke fucks have figured out what a woman is?.. what a man is?.. and we need to dig deeper cause I think theres a wage gap for the 50 other genders these fucktards have made up out of whole cloth..
I hope the men there now sue Google. But, alas, they are cucked. Castrating men has consequences.
If this info gets to the mainstream, men will avoid working for Google and they will lose much.

I do IT work. Had a women from a client company call in, in their IT department, who couldn't tell me if she was connected to her home network or not.
Like.... How did she get that job? The fuck

Most likely their "IT" is outsourced and the people working are cheapest they could find

100% this ☝️. This practice is the real pandemic
The company I work for promotes women to Director or VP positions to increase their pay. Different means to the same end.
Wouldn’t there need to be men there in order for men to sue?
The other half are foreigners.

Reminds me of back when they discovered the same scenario for WNBA athletes.
And yet ... STILL ... nobody watches WNBA. Which would explain why their salaries are lower.
The Motto of the WNBA: "Dykes Don't Dunk"
Hilarious.

👍👍👍👍
So they underpaid men in order to have some statistics that made them look like they were being "fair"??
That screen shot hurts my brian.
old article.

So much for that wage gap.
Love the irony. Now will those who sued get a pay cut?
