I happily embrace my label of being a "Conspiracy Theorist." It's funny when I announce it to people. It disarms them.

I like to call myself a conspiracy realist. I like to deconstruct a theory before jumping headfirst into believing it. I seek out any evidence I can find to refute it and then look for the corroborating evidence. With the vast majority of evidence presented by the "conspiracy deniers," it often lacks data or video/audio evidence. while video evidence can be faked, scientific data can be repeated and verified. if there are multiple videos of the same event, this is much more difficult (though, not impossible) to fake.

Time to own the label and take all the wind from the sails of those who think it's a smear.

The theories aren’t lasting long these days before they’re facts.

Once upon a time we taught our kids an old saying, "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me". Then we stopped instilling that wisdom into our kids. Now, words have become powerful and effective weapons used to control the minds of the masses.

The term "conspiracy theorist" is used to stop people from thinking critically.

The term "anti-vaxer" is used to stop people from voicing concerns over side effects of a product.

The term "racist" among others, is used to force people to agree with the agenda of the accuser.

Freedom is a easy as ignoring the words of idiots.

Did republicans conspire with tobacco companies to cause Americans to die for the sake of tobacco profits? Yes.

Did auto companies conspire to vandalize mass transit? Yes.

Did Bolsheviks conspire to over-through the Czar? Yes.

Did American elites conspire to aid a dictator of Mexico against the last Mexican revolution? Yes.

You can be a conspiracy theorist. Just don't be a stupid conspiracy theorist. There are no reptilian aliens. The US did go to the moon. Israel does pull some shit, but don't assign Jews in general with some nefarious conspiracy. Jews are not going to replace you.
