If you can go to a drop box, you can go to a polling station. If you can go to a post office, you can go to a polling station. And, any method of ballot collection that does not time stamp the ballot is nothing more than an open invitation to cheat.

It's not an ex post facto law.
I haven't read the opinion, but if they are saying it is a violation of the Wisconsin Constitution, and that is why they are "unlawful" (not illegal), then those ballots in 2020 did not count. If those were enough to change the election, then Wisconsin's electoral votes are not valid.
If so, then Wisconsin's legislature is in a position where they must decertify the 2020 election results.
Ex post facto law is making a law (by legislature) that imposes some requirement or punishment and applies retroactively. A court decision saying something is unconstitutional or was a violation of law, means that the act committed was not valid back when it happened, and was therefore a violation of law.
You could even say that, as a matter of law, the act did not happen. In this case, those votes were never cast. Therefore, they must be excluded from the total of the votes that were cast.

Even if this is true, Wisconsin by itself will not be enough to give Trump the win. He needs a couple more states.

It is also used for COVID testing and vaccine programs in Racine where they passed “the most over-arching COVID order or ordinance in the nation” before rigging the 2020 primary and general elections.
This really should have been the case from the beginning for every state. Progress is progress none the less. Hopefully this results in a reaction to have other states follow

Sure, sure. But questions remain:
(a) Will they be used anyway
(b) Will anything resembling consequences occur after they are used, and yet another election is stolen (besides the declared "winner" taking office and proceeding with the planned destruction of the country while soaking up taxpayer dollars)

This is great. But just like gun control. More laws aren't the answer. The answer is to ENFORCE the current laws. It's a magic trick. Hey! Look at my left hand creating more laws and don't look at my right hand which selectively enforces the law. I see politician after politician fooling people with this bait and switch year after year. It's a never ending circle jerk.

some people think, as the political machine directs. "vote" and make a difference. I think the difference is in those who think voting makes a difference vs those who have seen that it is staged, already decided, regardless of votes. The most peaceful do not even get engaged in voting at all,
knowing instead that there is a greater power, a helper, a mighty one,
who is taking care of everything in the best possible way, perfectly.
