I don’t know if you folks have AC though. If you don’t I can sympathize.
I sweat looking out of the window. My grass is scorched. My dog gives up mid walk.
I'm 66 and don't think I have ever seen a UK house with air conditioning installed. I have certainly never lived in one. Central heating yes, but the weather just never gets that hot, until it does like now, and we're screwed.
Occasionally seen those portable AC units which people buy and hang a hose out of the window.
I installed aircon in my UK house but only in the south-facing office. I had planned to install it in the south-facing bedrooms but we emigrated, instead, to a hotter climate where aircon is the norm. Most brits think that it's not worth installing aircon just for one week per year.
It is the most powerful weapon they have.
This is why they fear access to knowledge and research so much. Censorship is vital to their agenda.
They were even better here in the 90s, with little smiley faces or a pair of sun glasses or hearts

But the sun is important for a lot of reasons, not least of all your internal clock.
I think people are (rightfully) scared of skin cancer, but some go overboard on reducing sunlight on themselves.

We know so little about this planet, to say that there is a 100% definitive "normal" climate is the ultimate arrogance. Also the climate change crowd completely ignores the fact that all living organisms are constantly adapting to changes in their environment. There are now certain types of fungus that thrive off of radioactive waste, however I'd wager 95%+ of the people on the planet have absolutely no idea anything of the sorts exist. Whenever someone talks of humans as some type of fluke that doesn't belong on this planet, and that our activity is not a part of nature unlike every other organism on this planet, you can be absolutely certain this person has an agenda. What type of agenda might benefit from treating human life like a disease on this planet? Well one that wants to justify treating humans like absolute shit would be the first thing that comes to my mind.

We are actually having a pretty cool summer, like we used to have in the 80's and 90's. Back then, if you were out after 3pm, you brought a sweatshirt and umbrella with you. We had a good 20 years of forgetting that, and it was hot. Now we are back to bringing a sweatshirt and umbrella, and the weather is pleasant. However, according to the news, it's HOT, red warning! Slather up your sunscreen! Don't go outside, you will die!! Which I don't understand. It's a nice summer, milder than we've had in years, and they are acting like it's too hot and we are all going to scorch to death??? People will remember the words, not what actually happened. I'm trying to figure out why our summer is so nice when they obviously don't want us to have a nice summer.
When people WAKE UP to the fact that "news" has never been a true documentary since its invention, but instead is a completely scripted, meticulously directed and acted sci-fi horror crime drama feature movie, THAT will be the great awakening.
Turn your flat screens and devices off when the "weather" or"news" comes on and enjoy the day with a friend if possible =)

Anybody that is paying attention sees how they push fear. Look at the last 2 years. How much evidence do you need?
It's simple. Actual evidence. This well may be true, or the 'past' version could be from as recently as 3 years ago. They've been pushing climate change for a very long time. Would this stand up in court? You'd be laughed out. Evidence is evidence. This is an anecdote that might be true. I'd even say it's likely to be true. But it's not evidence.
This is not a court of law it is a discussion board. Chill out, friend.
I understand that, but there are a lot of posts like this that don't actually offer any proof. And a substantial number have been proven to be false. Nothing wrong with showing the sauce. And I aimed the comment at the guy who made the post that you posted. Of course I would like to see you offer sauce as well, but if he didn't offer it in the first place, how can you?
