That ballot printer is way out of calibration. Everyone needs to be checking this and taking photos. Back-light it with a flashlight if needed. It doesn't matter if you do everything perfectly, that ballot was destined for adjudication.

Asked for a ballpoint, and was told the felt tips were correct (By a guy I know working there who is an avowed communist (I shit you not)). I was given one by another worker and filled out the form. The solution for me has been joining local groups that work to change the system at our local closest level first. It is what we truly can change and have more control and eyes over. To not trust ANYONE, regardless of the party they claim they are on if I have NOT had any one-on-one connection with them at all to even gain a true personal feel for them and their intentions.
To call out the BS of local politicians (city, county, state), and stay on top of the school boards. Staying actively engaged on what is going on in the schools themselves regarding teachers, coaches, admin, or even "student led" type activism to find if there is outside sources pushing the issues behind the scenes (such as Sanford trying to gain access to students under TransformativeSD)
The elections will ALWAYS be, and always have been, SELECTIONS. They designed the system to always work in their favor and with the fed govt being the MASSIVE size it is, it will continue to be that way. As it stands, voting hasnt changed shit for us. We need to start focusing on how to connect with local like-minded folks and start generating plans and ideas on how to survive, and even THRIVE, within the confines of this fucked up society. The amish almost have the perfect plan.
