I didn't downvote you but lemme tell ya: I hadn't seen his last big tour, so I watched it on YouTube a couple months back. After the first half, it was absolutely filled with fake news BS, misconstrued Trump quotes, politically correct whining and sickening impressionist drawings of President Trump. He topped it off by scrawling "Trump is a pig" in massive letters across the top of the stage. Why?? He was butt-hurt that year over ISRAELI internal politics. Yea, really: that retarded.
Now, granted, he has made a few decent, back-paddling comments since then, but this (the first guy I ever heard warn about globalist economic catastrophe) is normie AF in our current days and chooses the heart of the beast CA as his longtime home. Roger needs waking up. On the other hand, one of the last public statements from Gilmour that I heard was a total, straightforward endorsement of communism.

The musician, in an interview with a major American television channel, said that Biden continues to kindle the fire of the Ukrainian conflict. “This is a serious crime. Why doesn’t the US call on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to start negotiations with Moscow to end this terrible conflict?” Waters asked.
The musician also stressed that the special operation to protect Donbass was a reaction to an attempt to expand NATO to the borders of Russia, although the organization promised not to do so.
Taking a break from his usual unhinged hysterical Trump bashing, I see.
This guy doesn't like the music business, pop stardom, the workaday world, people, Republicans, Democrats, David Gilmour...
Was surprised and highly gratified to learn just last week that it's not his voice on Have A Cigar singing the part of the record producer: "We're just knocked out/ We heard about the sellout/ You've gotta get an album out/ You owe to the people/ [and here's the classic iconic line] WE'RE SO HAPPY WE CAN HARDLY COUNT!"

Oh, and that vocal is one more thing Roger doesn't like. Says if he'd sung it himself, he'd have sung it less "cynical" and more "vulnerable" (i.e., wimpy). But he was persuaded to leave it on the record. Judging from the sales, a wise decision.
Watched this yesterday and Waters does two important things:
He destroys the commie pipsqueak from CNN.
He touches on something modern media ALWAYS avoids: The media will NEVER include the history the leads up to a situation so that normies understand the context of the current events. This has never been more true than with the Russian/Ukraine situation.
I too watched it and for all the Commie pipsqueak talk about Smoercomish (well deserved) it was he who pointed out the atrocities of the CCP, and Waters just waved it away as though it was false.
Waters also mistakenly thinks Taiwan belongs to the mainland. Taiwan was part of Japan, not the mainland, going back to at least 1895 prior to full separation from Japan in 1951. After > 70 years of freedom the Taiwanese certainly don't want to be ruled by the CCP on the mainland.
If the CCP tries to attack they will be looking at a severly blackened Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu and no money to build back anything.

Yeah… I was more than a little turned off when I saw a versions of “Pigs” where he showed a picture of Trump during “ha ha, charade you are!” and the brain dead seals clapped..
Especially brutal since Animals is my favorite Floyd album. But I’ve always been more of a “Dogs” man.
He’s so, so close to the mark at times, evidenced by some of the reactions he gets out of the left, but I think him being an ass who hates everyone is accurate. It’s no wonder the other guys didn’t want anything to do with him for 20 years.
