The Danchenko trial starts October 11.
DeFilippis has a November 14 trial in SDNY (two Americans charged with providing material support to ISIS).
Both trials involve serious prep time, motions, hearings, etc. This keeps him from being spread too thin.

No. The vast majority of people in the military are good, honest folks, but certainly not infallible. Definitely still human. Part of Army culture is deciding on if you’re a lifer (20+ year career to get your retirement). A lot of leaders will do the career expedient thing and rubber stamp what gets them 20 years. COVID vax policy is a great example. Gender transition is another.
It’s getting woke and a lot of people need to be in good company before admitting some of this stuff is garbage/heinous for fear of their precious 20 years.
I imagine military courts are much more secure and not public.
