I think he is reading too much. Trump's point is very general in nature. He is basically saying you dont have to be MAGA to take part on truth. Everyone is welcome. It doesnt mean some highprofile people, it could be anyone.

I like DeSantis too, but let me tell you something that bothers me about him.
Trump left and went silent for a bit, but did you notice DeSantis during that period? He started talking like Trump and using the same hand gestures. It felt phoney, but we were so starving for a win that I think many didn't notice.
As soon as the talking point became DeSantis instead of Trump, all the Never Trumpers I knew jumped on the DeSantis train. I knew something was up.
Then I found out about his Yale secret society ties to The St Elmo Society. St Elmo was one of the oldest fraternities at Yale aside from Skull and Bones. Again, I wanted to remain hopeful, but the phoniness on camera made me do a gut check.
His name used to be listed on the Wikipedia page for St Elmo Society, but it has been removed. Why would it need to be removed?

Reconcile the simplification of all Corporate logos, in such a broad scope it cannot merely be chalked up to chasing a fad.

I feel the same way. I don't worship any man though some on our side seem to when a pol does something that is what they should be doing. I think we are so starved for someone, other that GEOTUS, to do the right thing that we gravitate naturally toward that person without taking time to look at the big picture. I feel the same way about our new candidate for Senate here in Missouri, Eric Schmitt. I'm not sold on him but will vote for him as he'll likely win.

Truth Social still has a limited reach so the phone number requirement limits it further. Q posted on 4chan which is as anonymous as can be, I try for some anonymity online. And yes you're right, if you use a smartphone you are being monitored which proves my point. By requiring a phone number TS endorses (or at least doesn't overtly object to) that monitoring.
They don't care if you're too scared to hand over your information because it's a way to limit bot activity on the platform.
Much like Twitter will allow any old bot to create an account but prompt you for a phone number the first time your account earns a strike, TruthSocial requires it from the get go.
