Just watched a video that the op kept referencing us as right wing. Though I'm not insulted by the label I've never really considered myself as right wing.
Nor do I consider myself Republican. There's plenty of Republicans that I can't stand. I've never voted Democrat but I did vote for Perot in the '92 election who was independent. Mostly because I couldn't stand Bush 41.
I've always considered myself to be something of a staunch Conservative. Just curious as to y'alls opinion and if you use some other label for yourself. I know MAGA is a label but not sure it is the best label for Ideology.
I've never been left or right wing. I've always been for personal liberty. I've always been registered independent. My views can not fit in one of their boxes. As a teen I used to describe myself as fiscally conservative and socially liberal to attempt to condense my views for others, but I wouldn't say socially liberal these days since they went off the deep end with pushing trans and pedo. I've now learned what my parents meant by "slippery slope".
I feel a lot of us grew up accepting gay people and wishing we could all just "live our lives", until they suddenly stopped just living life, and started actively pushing their degeneracy.
Or perhaps that's simply always how they wanted to live their life..
Actually many gays are pretty fed up with trans and pedo taking over their movement. There is a bit of a civil war brewing within the alphabet gang.
I don’t think those exist.
You either want the government to force your ideas on people. Or you want to decentralize power to allow people to decide on what they want to do.
I consider myself as a Decentralist.
There are both right wing and left wing authoritarians. Who want the force aspect of laws to get society to comply on their ideas.
We could just break it down to Sane and Insane. I check the box that says Sane every time.
Here is a little more insight into how I see laws.
Laws should be designed around nature.
Every law should go back to nature.
=========================== Marriage Laws for example.
What does nature say about relationships between men and women?
Nature states that if you have a healthy man and a healthy woman. They can procreate to produce offspring without any scientific modifications.
Therefore in my view.
Interracial/cultrual marrige is ok. Gay marriage is not ok.
=========================== Laws about property rights
What does nature say about property rights?
Nature states that if you cannot establish rights to certain land. War will break out. Meaning no peace. Meaning death and destruction.
Can species survive in nature if it's killing itself?
The answer is no.
Therefore nature states this is wrong.
This is how I see the law.
What you are talking about is deregulation. Meaning the ability to say no to something.
Government regulation is really about making a forceful yes. That you have no choice to opt out of something.
When I say forced ideas. Let’s take roe vs wade. That was making all states forcefully comply.
That’s not decentralized power.
For example.
Some right wing people might say we should use the government to force interracial marriage from not happening. That’s an authoritarian.
I am against forcing people to comply even if I don’t agree.
The left needs the government because they know if they let market forces to decide naturally. People would say no.
I am for letting market forces naturally take its course.
I consider myself a Christian Constitutional Conservative…
Same. :)
Gosh, if only folks listened to Ross Perot back then.......
I hate being shoved into a drawer with a label.
I'm just a grumpy old b'stard who's fed up with being told what to do, what to say, what to think and all the other BS nonsense going on.
I want to live in a normal, sane world, free to say and do what I want (within reason) and I'll support anyone who wants the same, people who stand up for what is right.
Libertarian lending you fellas support until the cabal is wiped out, then back to libertarian philosophy.
I'm a Constitutionalist.
Patriot
Patriot. When I moved, I re-registered as "unaffiliated".
I registered as a Republican because of the party history -- and I hope it can be saved.
But in reality, I detest politicians AND parties.
I just want a tiny federal government that exists for a strong army, strong border and to coordinate among states, say, for standardized interstates, for example.
I want to get back to the principles on which this country was founded.
National Capitalist
None of the above.
I'm not right wing, Republican or conservative. I’m MAGA because President Trump is clearly trying to repair things, and I'll vote R as long as it supports Trump’s work. (And at this point have been convinced never to vote D again in my life—my old party is non-salvageable.)
Trump used/joined the Republican half of the deeply corrupt uniparty because it turned out to be the Democrat half that same uniparty that was being pushed to the point of insanity in order to shove the New World Order down society’s collective throat.
Bush/Cheney/R being the same thing as Clinton/Obama/D (different “opposing” teams in the same league), Trump is something else entirely. They all hate him for it.
In saner times he could easily have run as a D with his same policies, but the current state of the world is such that it happened to position the R party as the corrupted tool with the potential to be purified and re-forged into the weapon needed to save us all.
I'm a liberal patriot.
I'm an American Patriot. No party affiliation.
I've always been right of center, Bottom line belief in Holy Christian Bible "IF you don't work you don't eat." But also think society needs a safety net for those in need. Sadly the church allowed a Government takeover of providing for the poor and the Gov turned poverty into a voting base
Demonic liberal democrats have moved the goal posts so far left us moderates appear to be far right.
Anyway, at this point I don't care what media or liberals think and I'm done being tolerant!! Way too much at stake to play nice and act polite
You should read what Ayn Rand said about pragmatism.
Im a centrist however from where Im standing I can still have a conversation with a Conservative but Liberals are on another planet.
Texas Republican. I’ve read the platform papers of the party. I agree with everything in there except the part about supporting Israel. That needs to be defined as spiritual support for Israeli citizens. Not financial or with out soldiers.
Everything else is good.
We need to kick the politicians out of OUR party. Don’t leave. Make them leave.
Andrew Torba has been using Christian Nationalist as a label for awhile, and I enjoy it.
I used to call myself simply "Conservative" for awhile, but like other terms, conservative can umbrella a great many ideologies.
And I think "Conservative Christian Nationalist" is just repeating yourself.
I'm Independent, an Old Church Christian, (Catholic who does not follow Rome). Libertarian sorts, although my father's voice rings in my head, "read the Bible and accept your place in life, which is a gift. No matter who gets elected people like us still have to get up and go to work . He was a very humble man, but a banty rooster if you messed with him.
I’ve thought about this a lot as well and I’ve found that the concept of right vs left comes from the French Revolution and is a dialectical control mechanism of elite puppeteers. I lean conservative/traditionalist culturally but as far as political systems go…idk. I’d personally prefer a more decentralized/libertarian system but I think as a people we’ve become too corrupted to shoulder the personal responsibility those systems demand
