I adhere to the hybrid hypothesis. J agree that evolution is BS, but I personally believe many species change through cross breeding as well as spontaneous mutations.

I'd like to introduce you to the concept of "mutual exclusion"
Believing that life forms change over time in response to environmental pressures according to which survived best and produced the most offspring is not mutually exclusive to being a bleeding heart liberal.
"Believing in evolution", like understanding why it only took 12 generations for tuskless elephant to evolve in response to poaching, doesn't mean you want to kill well people or shut down hospitals.
