Do the best you can, find nearby patriots and befriend (church is a good place if you’re a religious person), don’t be a feckin weirdo or tinfoil hat nut about it all, and you’ll at least have some kind of support system should shot get bread lines level of bad. Not saying anyone will just take you in, but they might give you some dried beans and quinoa or something.

I believe if we pull together with our like minded neighbors and family and friends we can perservere with God's help I also have times when things look bleak. I try to stop when that happens and find what is something I can do to move forward today. Learn a new skill, pray for others, take better care of my health....one more day....

Easiest way to stock up on food is every time you get groceries, by an extra can or 2 of food. Baby steps.
