It wasn’t what I thought it would be, but I have another day so I am waiting to make full judgement. However, while discussing the KKK, the narrative came up that they were the republicans of today, and that the parties switched names. Seems convenient. I mean, they described it as if you were any kind of public official you had to be part of the KkK so there were thousands of people in the KKK, they were no fringe group. Can anyone share any informative accurate links to this unfortunate part of our history?

The KKK was created from Democrats thats why Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton went to the funeral of their Grand what ever it is. It has always been the democrats. Denesh DeSousa has all the information on what happened.
Robert Byrd.
When libs say the parties flipped, ask them if they know how many segregationist Democrats in Congress remained in the party well after the Civil Rights vote. The answer is all but one.
There was no flip. Just a new strategy.
Democrats LOVE to claim that the parties switched sides. Try this trick that I discovered. Ask them WHEN the parties changed sides. They will hem and haw and not commit, once they've squirmed enough, loosen the strings a bit and say "okay, give me a ten-year period that the switch took place". Once they pick a date range, just pick any prominent politicians from BEFORE that date and say. Okey, then, so you're saying FDR was a Republican and Hoover was a Democrat? Etc. Etc. Hilarity ensues. It really makes the morons squirm pretty well.

"The Flip" is a lie, call it a lie. Do your own research on the matter - don't take my word for it.
It's a lie. Ask them to name the Democrats who switched sides. They can't tell you because there was no switch. It's typical Dem behavior. Do something bad, then when the people start to turn on them, blame the other side for it and claim they were always the good guys. Don't let them gas light you.

Would’nt it be nice to red pill your diversity trainer? Just a thought…
yeah, just speak up and say HEY! since you brought up some history of the political parties, i thought everyone here ought to know that the REPUBLICAN party was FOUNDED AS an ABOLITIONIST PARTY,
meaning the GOP were founded for the sole purpose of abolishing slavery.
and their first Presidential Candidate was a Abe Lincoln,
And Abe Lincoln Freed The Slaves,
And a Democrat named John Wilkes Booth allegedly killed Abe Lincoln,
BUT in fact, there were FIVE other people who were arrested, tried, convicted, and executed, for the CONSPIRACY to assassinate Lincoln

And the NRA got its start by ex-Union officers supplying blacks in the south with guns so they could protect themselves.
Protect themselves from Democrats
under-rated comment
Nicely done
Democrats push the party-flip narrative, to distance themselves and the Democrat party from their history with the KKK,
and they need to be called out for it.
Democrats, 1860: bbbut if we don't have slaves, then who will pick the cotton?
Democrats, 2022: bbbut if we don't have immigrants, then who will pick the vegetables?
Dinesh d'Souza's "Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party" covers this topic in depth.
Something something clan bake
I heard one dem moved to the republican side and then called it a big flip. Lies! The winners write the history, right!? A great video from pragerU online on it
Stromm Thurman if I remember correctly. That’s the entirety of the “flip.”
They infiltrated…the RINOs
I'm bet'n they pulled the ol' switch-er-roo...
Dinesh D'Souza did a lot of good documentaries about this lie and the propagation of it. basically the party switch tale is a lie.
Was Woodrow Wilson a Republican?
Here’s an example: US Senator Robert Byrd, a Democrat and former high ranking member of the KKK. He never changed his party. Was Hillary’s mentor.
Dinesh has a really good talk on this. I will try to find it and post a reply here.
