I suspect it will take awhile to reverse. Odds are it isn't a click of a button to reverse all the shit they have been doing.
Worse than that, people would prefer to play shutter island with these people instead of helping them.
Elon did say that nothing will change immediately. He will shuffle up the censor board (or whatever its called) and put diverse viewpoints on it, and then we will start seeing changes.
And this is bs. So-called diversity garbage from the left is what caused all this censorship to begin with. I thought Musk looked more trustworthy when he obliterated Hillary yesterday, but then he backed down. Not good.
There is nothing stopping Musk from waving his magic Twitter wand and fixing all the silencing of conservatives like magic. Why hasn't he? And I don't buy the argument that he's afraid of losing ads.
BTW, I have to add the people on GAW who try to silence anyone here who in any way criticizes those they hero worship is a huge problem for this board. I've seen the same thing with Tim Pool, Newsmax, Lin Wood.
Diverse viewpoints are a good thing. The problem with the modern definition of diversity is it has nothing to do with diverse thought and really just means not white people. I'm all for a group of truly diverse thinkers trying to suss out the best way forward together.

Where did you get the idea that expecting fast action to stop the censorship is expecting everything to be fixed in two weeks? If Musk can't send out an order to reinstate those unfairly banned what can he do? He's now the owner of the company and the only member of the board. Instead, he's weaseling around saying a still in place but maybe tweaked with more diversity board will decide who remains censored and who doesn't.
What it appears he is doing is slowly tossing out a high profile unban here, an unban there to milk as many headlines as he can out of each one.

I don't do Twitter and never have and doubt that I ever will. But it's pretty disgusting to see the Musk worship when he's dragging his feet to fix the censorship. BTW, if you're going to insult the intelligence of people on this forum, you might want to learn the difference between they're and there's.

Just playing devils advocate for a moment so bare with me. I think in your case, it may stay because of the fact that 0.1% - 0.2% of all births result in ambiguous sexual organs, so much so a specialist has to be called in to determine the dominant sex. So, in this case Trans is not a mental illness and persons born this way can have hormonal issues that explain a feeling of confusion when it comes to preference. And while 99% of those who call themselves trans now are in no way actually suffering from what ive described above but for legal purposes, a company must draw a line to avoid potential lawsuits.

Maybe Twitter isn't getting fixed. Maybe it's getting dismantled. It may be too compromised only good for evidence.
Even if twitter will eventually get dismantled, it makes no sense for it not to be used for some spectacular disclosures that are being censored so far. It would be the biggest GA moment when some redpill material can get shared across twitter without censorship.

Musk already let people know to wait until after the new moderation team has time to work things out. First they need to deep dive into what is there before, changing it up and that will take time. Second, that does not mean that they are going to allow people to just go wild and will still be monitoring for aggressives only, not so one sided where you cannot even defend yourself against attacks from a protected ideology without being silenced and banned.
