That would make for some seriously fun snowboarding and snowmobiling.
I'm super jelly right now.
Those tracks in the street are from the HOA "officer" making sure everyone in in compliance with having their driveway shoveled by 7am.
Lol🐸👌
Holy shit that's a lot of snow.
That is why they require 4 x 12's rafters on 12 inch centers.....Yikes.
What?!?! No way! Really?!?
Sorry!! I was making a funny. Should have put kek in there.
Ah! I didn't know any better ... and it wouldn't surprise me.
The Blizzard of 77 - they have a documentary on it because it was so bad. Some folks froze in their cars because it came in so fast. They even made a board game from it. Crazy!
77” at my moms house south of Buffalo. The lake was pumping!!
Wow!
As soon as the lake freezes the snow machine stops. Then snow just from systems moving across country.
Is a bit early in the year innit?
IT's going to be a bitter Winter, methinks.
I am sure they hate it but damn I would love for it to snow here in London. It's not unknown but most winters no snow just grey and depressing.
Just winters ?
Most of the year actually but I do recall a sunny day in July once, 1982 I think it was.
I do believe Vera Lynn sang about that day.... 🤔
All Summer In A Day .
and the snowblower sale ended yesterday at the hardware store
Darn!
The Lake Effect.
Bro this is what the end result of global warming is can’t you see it? For 17 trillion we can fix this in 4 years Bc the world will end in 5 years, cmon trust the science
This kind of snow can raise your indoor temp 10 degrees mid day with sun coming in. 6ft is a lot at once, but 6ft in one snowy month can accumulate. Nothing worse than to live far north and have no snow when the temps plummet. Its a mess for town and city dwellars, and a bitch to dig out in the rural areas, (especially if your'e all dug out and then the snowplow goes blasting by just to push more of it against your bumpers). But if your going to live where the winter is harsh cold, you want the snow, several inches on your roof and around your foundation to bank the house with, it makes it so warm, the woodstove is going and its 19 out with a good stiff wind from the west, and I'm in a tshirt and lightweight pants , about 75 in here. Taking the dogs out is not as easy though. I live on the same latitude, just east of there and higher, we like snow.
Next weekend its gonna hit 50 there.
dark winter!
and you think the migration from NY to FL is because of politics?
Yes. Absolutely. Without a doubt.
Nothing like some pre-apocalypse crazy weather.
Was able to get the snowmobile out and go for a rip already. Had to keep it pinned just to not sink in the powder. The band hit relatively tight with only minor oscillations which is why so much is in one location. Just a few miles south of the the epicenter has literally half as much snow. Granted three feet is alot but not as unmanageable as 5-6ft
Brah, it's called climate change now... get with the current thing! ;)
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.
That’s nutz.
