You know, Kim Dot Com is still speaking from the normie paradigm POV that the tech industry and dotcom boom were organic, new markets rife with freedom, and the big tech companies we know today started out as tiny little startups that made it big through hardwork and ingenuity...
But anons should know that Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc were created by DARPA abd the CIA, and thus became the exact centers of surveillance and intel harvesting for deep staters that they were meant to be from the begining.

This doesn't make any sense. Someone was expecting a social media company to support his rights and democracy? For the millionth time, we don't live in a democracy. And rights are natural, endowed by your creator. Stay off social media, it's useless.
Yup, we have a "constitutional rep0ublic". Unfortunately (but totally by "their" design), that "our democracy" bs has seemingly took hold everywhere and infiltrated everything.
This sentiment can also be directed at Anthony Fauci and the people in charge of the NIH, CDC and FDA. They have all betrayed us. Were they influenced by money? Power? Prestige? They failed us but most especially those who died or were injured by their decisions directly.
People who couldn't see what damage the internet could do weren't reading enough science fiction.
I didn't think about any damage, but when the whole Clinton thing broke in the 90s, I started telling people that the "free exchange of ideas online" would not be tolerated for long. Even then you could see how citizen journalism and letting people speak freely about events would turn into a "threat" against the status quo and would have to be shut down.
I was thinking of something related but different. Lots of sci-fi stories about telepaths and the advantages they could have by their instant knowledge of the truth. Which would always lead to them being persecuted by the non-telepaths for the invasion of their privacy, or by the powers that wanted to deceive. Same difference, the internet leads to instant dissemination of both truth and lies, and a struggle to control the narrative.

The beauty of the internet is that it gave everyone a even playing field in the area of Ecommerce. I remember I was in a meeting with Google in the early 2000s and they told us that soon they will be focusing on Big Brands. The mom and pop sites that ranked on the first page was going to be no more. I am sure that Google has the same suppression tools for websites as Twitter had for users.

This is a bit too fedora tippy. The absolute least we should be doing at this point is supporting those seeking to become ungovernable.
Kim has to know that the goal here is to fake it until we make it into a technocratic sousveillance society. He's right in calling out the ones part of faking it, but should be focusing his efforts on doing whatever he can reasonably do to subtract people out of joining the critical mass required for the obvious end state. If people don't buy into it, it eventually collapses under its own weight and the weight of a few selfish governments who'll need to bail to save their own skins.
