Obama's "it was supposed to happen like this" = Ukraine joining NATO.
For those unaware, Eastern Ukraine speaks Russian, trades with Russia and for all intents and purposes are Russian.
The above LARP is trying to twist reality into some scenario where Putin is painted as a bad guy who colluded with Obama to start war in Ukraine, to take Crimea and other parts of Ukraine.
The reality is, Russia already had everything they could hope for with Ukraine until Obama instigated a coup d'etat, overthrowing the pro-Eastern Russia-friendly president and instituting a pro-Western and Russia-hostile president who wanted to join NATO.
I can't prove anything or point to any direct indicators but my feelz on it are:
Putin played the game as the rules were at that time with the forces in place at that time (Obama US). His job was to get what he needed for his people.
Then Trump came and the game changed with it. Putin then worked within a plan as developed with the Trump admin to further secure his own people and end a threat that had been created by the Obama admin in his effective AO.
and that is, of course, just a guess.
There are many elements that cloud reading such events, one among them is this expectation of pure motivations, either good or evil, by foreign players. Most of the time they're just trying to survive the situation put in place by the US and it's many and multitude manipulations.

It's an interesting theory, but it's dependent on the idea that Putin would allow himself to be a puppet in HRC's/Cabal's game. That seems highly unlikely to me based on what we know of him.
