Jordan is very good at presenting an argument in a way that is hard to refute. He also seems to have the skill of not letting his ego get in the way of his message. Too many politicians are so busy trying to feed their egos that people tune them out.

But he's said he doesn't want to do it so he can lead the investigations as the Judiciary Chair. He can't do both so we'd be losing Jim Jordan during comittee investigations.

He’s better than DeSantis, imho, he’s been swimming with the biggest sharks the DS has. I don’t think being Governor of Florida, albeit a successful one, compares to the battles Jordan had fought against the swamp. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard DeSantis use the words Deep State or Swamp.

DeSantis was in the House from 2012 to 2018 - I don't think he did much while he was there.
