I’ve been saying this for a while. This seems to be the general consensus among the conservatives I know. They view Trump as too brash or contentious. They want Trump-lite, and DeSantis seems to be the best option fit that role.
Desantis is backed by all the people we want to see in prison. That alone should tell you. It doesnt matter any way. If Desantis and Trump are both on the ticket for President then democrats win because DeSantis will only be there to take away Trump voters to make sure the dems get back in.
