Awful. May the lord be with the families of those men and bring them the strength they need tonight.
7/10. Targeted Kills.
I cannot help but reflect upon Gen. Flynn's recent cryptic message:
I won't jump to any conclusions, but I would not be surprised if this incident were related to the recent happenings in the skies across America.
How are we not in a war?
I think we are. Media blackout as usual but this stuff can’t all be happening coincidentally.
UPDATE - Alabama authorities reportedly confirms the US military helicopter that crashed near Highway 53 in Madison County was a UH-60 Blackhawk, no survivors

Uh, could this be another #Died Suddenly by a vaxxed pilot who suffered either a fatal brain embolism or aneurism or sudden fatal heart attack, pitching him forward, plunging the vehicle into the ground??
Good thing she was vaxxed. Could have been worse.
I love throwing this back at vaxxies. They can't tell if I'm being sincere or sarcastic.
Interesting thought. User name checks out!
Helicopters suck when things go wrong. No gliding capability, just straight down. No real chance of escaping either. It appears from this video at least one person died. I pray for a miracle otherwise.
Auto-rotation is pretty impressive though. I've watched canadian Coast Guard pilots practice coming down without power, restarting just before hitting the ground and taking off over and over again. It seems to defy logic, but it's a thing.
That video did not feature auto-rotation.
You need sufficient altitude or sufficient forward speed to auto-rotate, this had the former but regardless a helicopter doesn't drop like this if rotors are in any way still spinning, could be blades were locked up(possibly one blade missing but it still wouldn't drop like this), which suggest something major mechanical be it deliberate or accidental(to be honest it almost looks like it is being driven into the ground...)
Not an expert by any means, but it's not entirely accurate to say "no" gliding capability, but how you can handle failures in a helicopter depends on how and when it fails.
Some types of helicopters are hybrid and have wings. This one in the video,....and by the way it came straight down, didn't have any gliding capability..
Manipulation of the collective using a lever will generally allow you to land without power. This allows you to use autorotation (as referenced above) to safely land in the event of engine or tail rotor failure.
The problem is when the main rotor has a critical failure.
What is going on???
Damn. Hard to watch.

Tragic. Prayers for their families.
