John McAfee was a genius, who speaks what should be plainly obvious to everyone. The cell phone is being used as the gateway to the Beast System. Did anyone read the foloowing:
I am not that tech savvy, but I do have the bullet points that can be turned off, turned OFF on my phone. I hope that keeps me a step ahead of the beast!
Hey Fren. How do you know they are really off? Trust? Have you tested them? A fake off/on switch is an easy couple lines of code. I used to test software, and we had an axiom: If you didn't test it, it doesn't work. (Our coders were lazy, but you get my point.)
You’re right. Fake switch is easy. It can be even worse than that.
Even it we test that switching GPS location off causes that various apps start complaining that they don’t get the location from the system it doesn’t mean that it is really off. The switch can disable the location to your eyes and the apps installed on the phone while still provide the location to Google and Apple servers in the background, which you cannot see.
Apply the same to microphone, 24/7 voice recording, real-time voice to text recognition, text to server constant reporting, etc. Our phones are really powerful, faster than servers that system admins dreamed off 15 years ago. Constant real-time surveillance would only require campo % of the mobile phone CPU.
You can only know it if the system is open source, but then you still don’t know: maybe the source code that’s open source is from the system A while the actual binary code of the system in use is generated from the system B (modified version of A, which adds a surveillance bit).
We will never know until we will be able to compile the code to binary and install it ourselves. And even if we get there there will always be a layer that controls this process and while we think we generate the system ourselves - that compile/update layer can actually cheat as too and add the components we don’t want. They will always tell us: “The layer is to help and make it easier for you”. Unless one is a proper hacker doing it without any suspected tools - McAfee is right.
Thank you- not sure how to test off/on for different bullet points, but I sure am glad I do not shop via my phone and do not use social media via my phone
bigsix is completely correct. I worked in tech in soCal for the last 10 years.
I say this with all due respect - but if you believe that something is truly turned off because the User Interface tells you it is off - then you are Exactly who the tech sector preys on the most.
The follow up question that most well mannered citizens ask is -
Who and why would they want to be so devious?
I give you - Satan. The Great Deceiver.
Tech is the achilles heel of this time.
It's not even a line that follows a generational divide - it's simply a Knowledge divide.
Today's tech operates on systems that are so Opaque and far removed from the knowledge base of the average person - that the ONLY choice the average person has is -
Either operating With the tech and trusting that no bad intent is baked into such platform/device, etc.
Or not operating with that tech.
And it's not even like simply knowing code yourself comes in handy in this situation - you can't access that stuff (unless you're really into cracking) or you're on the business campus where this stuff is made.
You're truly at the mercy of the people Making the devices and apps we all carry around in our pockets.
And look at how well that has worked out in the last 3 years... LOL.
I spend the last 10 years working along side these people - many are my friends.
And many really hate everything America has stood for and want to change it.
And they can do it freely because neither us - nor Congress (LMAO) can see, or monitor, or even understand what systems those people are creating for us to all unwittingly buy into.
So where does that leave us?
Either participate with this tech - understand that everything you do with it is likely tracked in some way shape or form. And operate within that Awareness.
Or ditch the tech and go to Amish style living (nothing wrong with that).
My choice? Use the tech with awareness that if this War we're in goes south, The bad guys are coming for me eventually.
Whether I'm on an Amish Farm (later) or I'm fighting the fight (sooner).
There is no escaping - only beating them to the finish line by using their own tools.
What we and McAfee are saying though is the data collection goes beyond that.
Think of your phone as a device that is listening to you and sending that data to collectors - whether you have it turned on or not.
Think of your phone that is sending data about your location to collectors - whether you have it turned on or not.
Think of your phone as a device that has a camera on it that could be visually recording you and sending that data to collectors - whether you have it turned on or not.
Seems really crazy, doesn't it? Why would they do that? Why would anyone care about getting that stuff from you?
It's not you they're after right now - and right now might not be when they're after you.
But because the phones we keep with us (even turned off) have the capabilities I've listed - anytime "the bad guys" want data on the people they ARE interested in - They already have it.
So when are they going to be interested in you?
As long as you have a phone near you or with you - It very much does not matter if you use it for shopping or use it for social media.
The phone could be turned off and sitting in a different room from you.
It is still capable of sending your GPS data.
It is still capable of hearing your conversations.
It is still capable of recording you with it's camera.
What you do on the phone does not matter.
It's the fact that you HAVE the phone with you.
This is what you must be aware of, or you are living with a false sense of control.
Doesn't matter if you dont shop or use social media on your phone (this is social media)
They track you in many many different ways. They can even watch your eye movements through camera and know what you like to look at. Its scary stuff honestly
I do not believe he is dead. 🙏 what a character! Also, my immediate goal is to expunge myself from the iPhone.
Remember when that fabulous patriot with the blond hair was shaming Lindsay Graham at the airport to audit the vote after Jan 6? Everyone was in cahoots about his flip phone. Also, Blackberry went obsolete when “they” figured out a way to spy on us. We already know all this, yet still, it’s so gross and pitiful as I type these words from my iPhone.
Android is the only alternative and that's a Google product. I think when the SHTF I'll just put my Android under a wheel when I roll out to the rally point.
The security problems posed by smartphones are obvious and it's so tempting to just ditch it for a dumb phone (or no phone) as you say. Difficulty is that everyone has some must-have application on which they depend. For me it's Google Maps I absolutely need it to get around. If you're in a foreign city and you can't speak the language then Maps will tell you exactly where to find the correct bus or train and show you the route.
With this line of thought, you're assuming the dumb phone hardware is safe...
Most devices uses modems from only a couple of manufacturers, Qualcomm and Samsung being two major ones.
And old devices, which depended on 3G no longer work on most networks or are being turned off.
If you want to not be tracked, get an old school landline from the late 90s/early 2k. 😆 Because literally everything else out there, especially on cell networks, is 1000% tracked, and may even be when turned off.
Honestly, though, what about a 2000-era flip phone? (The fact that I am even writing these words when I’m feeling my 1999 self stating -what in the fuck - is just beyond belief! Intertwining timewarps!🤣)
If you want a cell phone with a web browser, e-mail, and a few other basic things, take a look at the Librem 5 in about a year. The carrier support is not great at the moment, and the apps are very basic, but it is a normal Linux distribution with basic cell phone features that are under development. As such, the privacy concerns are similar to a Linux laptop.
Speaking of Linux, currently, I do not recommend the phone at this time to people who have not used Linux before. Their preorder process is similar to crowd funding, and new orders will not ship for about a year. If you want to try it out, get one from eBay or wait until they have the phones in stock. By waiting, you will probably get a more finished product.
An earlier conversation had me thinking about about a video I was sent by one of my kids. I later saw a nightly news clip about the horrors of TikTok with the “Chinese” spying. Why do we distrust China (tiktock but FB is safe)? The video basically said the reason they want to shut TikTok down is bc they can’t control the narrative. The news report said they were almost 2 million Americans on the forum. Checkmate
It’s a distraction as you note. Ban TikTok but our own (US) government uses these tools.
Not we are allowed to discuss Chinese connection to virus only now because the connection to our own government needs to be hidden.
If you go to Ian Miles Cheong's twitter post you can see that Elon responded to him with "Interesting Take."
I love how Elon play stupid. Elon knows smart phones are tracking devices. He's got a role to play in this great awakening and it's just as big of a role as DJT.
I can always count on my froggs to call me out when I go too far. Thanks fren. I'm also glad I could amuse you. I should be more careful with my language. Here I'll revise my statement.
Elon has a role to play in this great awakening and it may be just as significant as DJT (in terms of waking up the masses).
Of course how does one measure?
Elon is building a satellite communication grid that is going to deliver a parallel internet to the entire world. When the cabal shuts down the internet, to try and contain the truth, whose network is going to stay functional?
He's also rewriting Twitter's code do deliver the unfiltered truth to the world.
It's possible that Tiktok, as the most egregiously intrusive app, is being exposed by Trump & the patriots in order to show the world how vulnerable smartphones make us.

Thank you all for your patience in explaining. Kinda a catch 22 - to see what’s going on you need tech, use tech you get watched by big brother.
May help some, but probably not enough. It's in the firmware.... the chips themselves of the phone.

Ok when is Trump going to build us a MAGA phone?
Elon is on the job!
Honestly I'd rather go back to the 90s without smart phone at all lol
Society peaked the day before the first iPhone was unveiled. It's all been downhill since then. Mark my words— the iPhone killed society.
RIP sir!!!!!!
Oh hes well rested. On a beach in [redacted]
Along with many others, I hope!! :-)

I miss John
WHY oh WHY do people use smartphones? How stupid can they get?
I use a flip phone but I am sure there are ways to track or spy with it too. They'd be bored stiff though as I barely use it.
