They couldn't swing the left vote over the whole state, so they put all their chips in the state SCJ race? It makes no sense that people would vote for R's everywhere except for a very consequential position. Good night. It's like Arizona again.
Wisconsin judge Janet Protasiewicz scored a major victory on Tuesday when she was elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
However, Republican senate candidate Dan Knodl had suggested last week that he would be open to impeaching Protasiewicz if he won his own race, which would give the GOP a two-thirds majority in the Wisconsin senate.
In Wisconsin, when Roe was overturned (returned to the States), the 1849 ban, which prohibits all abortion in all cases except to save the pregnant person’s life, once again took effect. With liberal Janet Protasiewicz winning the seat on the WI supreme court, the balance of power has been turned from conservative to leftist.
With Knodl's win, a super-majority is at hand for the Republicans. Will they use it to preserve the 1849 trigger ban? How will they succeed when the Supreme Court can overturn the vote? I believe impeachment of liberal Janet Protasiewicz is the only way to counteract court interference.
I think the normies are about to get a lesson in how state government should work. Judge misbehaves - state government impeaches. Critical state has 2/3 veto-proof majority. Almost as it were planned by someone?
@Sharonsaysso had the liberal minions spun up on the Wisconsin election. I need to go look at the actual vote amounts to see if there was maybe a Sharon effect here.
To be fair she just says “vote”, but I think the majority of her followers lean left - with guns and abortion staked as their hills to die on.
Most counties that Republicans get are +/- 10 points, so its a toss up. There are some strongholds, but its some red, some blue, mostly purple counties. Ron Johnson only won the last senate seat by like 16,000 votes.. Janet P won by 150k votes..
Yeah, funny how that works, isn't it? It's almost as if they need large dem precincts to stuff ballots in to win a statewide race. But then lose on the local level when they can't "find" ballots in dem precincts.

Yep, just like AZ.
There is no magic cure. It will be a slog up until the Remnant returns.
Good night, everyone.
And for all of you sad about the Wisconsin scotus tilting left

This was ny first thought, too. Let's hope!

I think I posted to the wrong post. LOL. WHY?
I already deleted my comment. Bullshit is so tiring.
NGL both of them look a little crazy-eyed
How does a state with a Super Majority in the Senate lose a statewide race for a court seat? Shouldn't that have been a blowout too?

Now impeach the judge.
In the "swing states", the Dems seem to always win the courts and the executive, while getting overwhelmed in the local races.

For the Knodl race, I think they thought the name Habush would save the race. Her family is a big attorney firm in WI.
Wow. Let's go!!!
