There are a couple of things wrong about this post. In #5, yes, people stop purchasing Bud Light, but they don't stop drinking beer. They just switch to a different brand. And #7, the companies being forced to abide by the ESG scoring are already owned by BlackRock and/or Vanguard.
This garbage currently being forced down our collective throats has nothing to do with profits -- it has to do with humiliation and destabilization of society.
Yea, we need a very much memetic explanation of how Blackrock / VG / ESG / social credit score system works, to seed into the mass consciousness asap
"end internationally traded companies" would be what I'd sugguest.. our enemies abroad have literally bypassed the militaristic approaches in favor of backdooring through American companies. Should be mega-illegal
Yes. And let there be more than three automobile companies in America. Delorean was the last one to challenge this. The car looked cool, but unfortunately didn't run well. We need more entrepreneurs like Tucker and Delorean to create more car companies.
Right! We saw this happen when Japan challenged the US with cars that were cheap, reliable and fun to drive in the 70’s. Our cars needed an engine rebuild at 100k and they were gas guzzling rattle traps at 10 years old.
I drove a 2003 ford ranger before they were gay and had 140k miles before I even changed the tires. Hardly even changed the oil. Slow as fuck though.
The Ranger is one of the best vehicles Ford has ever produced…but barely changing the oil? Comon man!
Yep.
Yeah, BS guilt about the truck drivers for Bud is just insane too. That reads exactly how it's written; an appeal to emotion and goodwill.
There is also no stated solution, leaving a possible lingering thought of hopelessness and "may as well keep buying to support the employees who just go along!", also forgetting that many truckers are independent contractors or orgs taking these jobs.
And still no one shops there. Small businesses get a big boost. Patriots start companies filling the gap. Main street flourishes.
Win-win.
this anon works for bud.
i don't want to live in a world where corrupt corporations need to be supported by the people for their own benefit. that is a lie.
boycotting a company also means not working for it! if your target employee neighbours aren't looking for new work, they sure should be!
this anon works for bud
kek, maybe
Have fun rebuilding your shit sandwich in your own image.
According to Dave Ramsey, never* borrow money. The borrower is slave to the lender. Based.
"* except 15 year fixed rate mortgage."
If sound money is restored and housing is permitted to return to market pricing, Dave can even remove that exception.
KEK #7 Nothing will stop people from boycotting their "new" corporation.
I'm not buying steps 5-7. I know a lot of "good people" that work for the megacorps and just like the institutional drones they tend to be fairly intelligent folks who just put way too much value on safety and conformity. Coincidentally, they are the exact sort of folks who would turn me in on a dime for having a pistol brace, or not being vaccinated, or failing to kneel during pride month, or failing to give my toddler permanent "gender affirming" surgery. In short: not just dead weight, but the immoral survivalists who will tear you apart if it benefits them.
These sorts will always ingratiate themselves into the safest roles of whatever new society emerges. They are like cockroaches. Do not worry about them surviving.
Another thing to consider--it's not necessarily the cabal that gets to swoop in and buy these assets on the cheap (esp. if white hats have locked their assets up due to child trafficking, or they owe shares to GME apes). It could be patriots. Maybe even the sorts of patriots who just quit working for the places because they finally got sick of the corruption.
We've been through so many boom/bust cycles with selective bailouts that we've forgotten that a fundamental aspect of capitalism is that resources from failed ventures are sold at market price and are the seeds of new development.
Finally, if all a woke company has to do to stop our boycott is threaten to fire Bill the delivery driver, how can we ever hope to achieve change? Maybe Bill needs to check his moral compass.
lol. Hey driving a truck carries over to whatever company you are transporting product for! Lame arguemeny beyond the immediate-term job losses. Good skill to have though
Completely falls on its face if people get serious about putting their money into alternatives.
