Shoes are mostly a scam anyways. Your feet work fine the way God made them. If you need protection get something thin that doesn't "support" your arch or change how you walk at all.
I understand the boycott but these ladies need to be cautious of their feet and especially no ankle support, other than that, good for them. I'm sure there are other brands that will gladly pick up where Nike fucked off.
I have Native American children who can do more without shoes than I (healthy Caucasian mama) can do with shoes, tools, and assistance. I'll not judge.
I once played tennis barefoot, on a hardcourt, because it was wet and I thought I was better off w/o shoes. How wrong I was! I could barely walk for a few days! I hope they don't suffer similar effects.
