-So once again, the Taliban has banned opium farming and trade and of course our NGO and buearcrats freak, as now the cartels (that we control) cannot make cash off the backend sales, especially after loosing the front end profits.
-Hence, now we have fentanyl flooding our streets as Herion is in short supply.
I ran an addiction ministry from 2003 - 2017 and watched all this play out. Many who were deep in that world were aware, as we dealt with quite a number of vets that knew what had been going on over there.
How their twisted little brains can turn the ban of illegal opiates into a bad thing is quite a feat in mental gymnastics.
I was in Afghanistan and saw a lot. Then I came home and my Dr, due to my injuries steered me into the pills. Which stopped being effective, which led me to street H. Question for others: why is Afghanistan the hotspot for growing that? Is it just unique soil and climate? Why can't China just cut off a piece of it's huge landmass and dedicated to that since they make all the fentanyl anyway?
