Sunday Prayer Request
🧘Mental/Physical Health 🏋🏼♂️
Hello and Good Morning!
I was wondering if someone here who is strong with the Lord can pray for me.
Specifically, I feel very lost in life. I know God has a purpose for all people and things but I don't know mine. I just want to know what I should do with my life.
I'm not trying to be dramatic but I'm at the end of my rope and things seem hopeless and I don't really wanna to go on.
Any spiritual guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you 🙏
Get up, get dressed and go to a Church this morning. Most churches have websites and display their hours of service. Anticipate a word from the Lord, pray he reveal his love to you. You will meet alot of awesome people too. Do it!
You will not find your purpose if you don't communicate with him. GO!
Exactly! Make it your daily, even hourly prayer, "Father God, you lead, I'll follow, show me your lead". And then listen and watch for His answer.
Discouragement comes from the devil. Immerse yourself in the Lord. Read the Bible and He will speak to you. Don't give up. Good luck, fren!
God says:
do not fret [at what they say or do, or any injustice they try to cover up]*;
do not get discouraged [they have not gotten away with anything]**; and
be prepared [for the impact that is about to hit My Nation of the eagle]***.
REFERENCE SCRIPTURE:
** Hebrews 10:30
*** Colossians 2
Prayer sent, fren. Head up, stay strong. Don’t give them an inch.
It's a feeling most go through sometime. Nothing seems promising, every choice seems boring and pointless at best. We can empathize and pray, and will. For yourself, pray that the Holy Spirit will enter your heart to encourage you and alert you to the direction you need. Sometimes change is slow and subtle, like walking in sand, even so it happens. Bless you.
Prayers for you, friend. I hear a lot of folks talking like this today. A sense of defeatism has entered their lives in the face of so much evil and corruption in our faces every day. But you're not alone, although the media and Deep State want you to think you are. No, you're not isolated, you've just been made to think you are.
There are millions of us out here fighting the same battle, each in our own way. Take heart, friend, I'm told that "the best is yet to come."
Amen.
Turn to the LORD and ask him out loud to help you get up, and put one foot in front of the other. Take that first step by faith, and God will carry you through. Because:
When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.
The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
The LORD redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
What is the moral lesson of the Footprints in the Sand?
The lesson or the moral of the poem is that during any point of your life, you are never to feel alone. God will always be beside you, and carrying you if needed, at anytime. You are always to feel loved, and supported.
When you look down and see only one set of foot prints, that is when the Lord carried you.
Stay strong patriot, do not let satan fool you that you are alone. Look at the people on this board, we are here for each other, all going through the same thing as you, at one time or another.
When you think you are at the end of your rope, tie a knot. It gives you something to hang on to better. God will reveal HIS plan for you in HIS time. We can't rush Him.
Your purpose like all of us is to follow God in everything you do as much as you can. We all fail at this, but do your best. In doing this you will find your purpose. Sometimes God uses us for a purpose we know nothing about. We may have a great effect on someone else's life without being aware of it.
I've been there. I'm Catholic so the only advice I can give is based on my faith. The 1st thing I did was prayer warrior. I had a prayer schedule to include mass, rosary, chaplet, scriptures every day. Of course not everyone can do this but do what you can. Schedule it. My intention/attitude was to fight against evil. Every night before bed I prayed the Poor Souls prayer (and 1000 Poor Souls pray for you).
Then thru church I joined a charity. Visiting nursing homes until my health stopped me; now I knit shawls/hat sets/lapghans for the poor and make kits for the homeless.
Adoration: Important. You need time in silence. Sometimes you hear your answer. Once I heard: You already know what to do. You have the commandments, the sacraments, the beatitudes, the rosary. Another time I heard: Your time on earth will be done when your work on earth is done.
With all that goes on these days, I found my attitude changed from despair to a purpose. Hope this helps.
Such an inspiring story! God bless you and those you impact.
Things will get better, they always do. Find a quiet place and meditate and think about what you have to be thankful for. Pray!
Every Day real America's Voice TV 8:00 a.m. show Sunrise America. They do a 2-minute segment daily on Jesus calling. You just need this daily verse and it will change how you feel at once. I promise! It is in modern layman terms. They use the book daily but here is a sample excerpt for you.
Jesus Calling Daily Devotional This blog contains post from Sarah Young's daily devotional book, "Jesus Calling". The posts also contain the recommended Bible verses that are a part of each day's post as well as some other related scriptures. These verses are from the New Living Translation (NLT) of the Bible.
'Jesus Calling: June 25th Open your hands and your heart to receive this day as a precious gift from Me. I begin each day with a sunrise, announcing My radiant Presence. By the time you rise from your bed, I have already prepared the way before you. I eagerly await your first conscious thought, I rejoice when you glance My way. Bring Me the gift of thanksgiving, which opens your heart to rich communion with Me. Because I am God, from whom all blessings flow, thankfulness is the best way to draw near Me. Sing praise songs to Me; tell of My wondrous works. Remember that I take great delight in you; I rejoice over you with singing.
RELATED SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 118:24 (NLT) 24 This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
When I was at the end of my rope, I took the Bible my Mother had given me years before and opened it. The first page I read was Psalms 51. It changed my life, not all at once but over time I came to know the Lord and I was saved. Praying for you to find Jesus in your life.
🙏 for you fren.
I found it was a mistake to look at God's purpose for our lives as singular. We can serve God's purpose daily by praying for guidance to do His will in all things, big and small. If you are seeking direction for your life, pray every day for wisdom and guidance, then listen, and follow it. Have faith that God will lead you through whatever you need to go through to get where you need to be. Follow where God leads. I've learned the hard way that when I follow God's plan I end up so much better than I would have if I had followed my own plan.
Prayers on the way fren.
Many spiritual beings are competing for our attention, and to influence. Ignore voices speaking from a place of darkness, and seek out those who bring light with them. Don't overthink all this. You have forever to figure it out.
‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” Prov. 3:5,6
Try and do at least one thing a day that you love. Make it a priority to do at least that one thing. If you can do more, great, but always ensure you do at least one.
This, and learn to sit in presence with your breath. Just shift your attention to the breath/heart-space and flow within it. The more times per day you can do this for at least a minute or two, the better. If you can set aside 10-15-20-30 minutes for just this, that's great too. But the multiple moments throughout the day is most effective.
All will be well again soon if you can achieve these simple tasks. Your purpose will become clear in perfect timing.
Good luck!
You should be spending time reading the Psalms, slowly. Try to understand what is being said, You will learn how much God loves his people, all his people, including, of course, you! Once you realize this, begin to pray to Him for the virtues: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Do you have self-control? If not, start there and ask God to give it to you. He will. Work through all the others in reverse order. You see, you have not established a relationship with God, and this is why your life is meaningless to you. Your life has great meaning, and God will lead you to joy, but you must pay attention to His leading. You will get an idea, and it will seem good. If it is from God, it will turn out well for you. If you are not sure, don't follow it.
If you want to know what your passion in life could be, take a good look at the 3 or 4 things you found most interesting or wanted most to do, when you were 12 years old. Those are things that your spirit was born with, that God gave you. See how those loves could translate into a very strong activity or work training for you now as an adult. You need to find your spark. I don't know your gender. But if you are male you should get your testosterone level checked and if you are older get help supplementing to get it to the level of a healthy 30 yr old male. Despondency and "no spark" is so very common a problem caused by low T. And heaven knows, society and bad eating attacks and worsens this issue. Excercise. Meaning walk a mile a day. Not run. Just walk. Then farther. Consistently. My prayer for you is that you pay attention to what you cared about when you were a kid and make some plans.
