They really screwed her over big time, because she said something about some black lady and a monkey or something stupid. Even though she apologized, they raped her big time. It’s well known in the Hollywood community what they did to her.

I will never forget in the 80s when she was sorting her bills on the show and I think it was her sister in the show said, "What are you doing?" Roseanne said, "I'm sorting my bills! I make two piles, white bills and red bills. I pay the red bills and throw the white ones away!" I loved it!

It means that the ones with red are disconnect notices or very late. The white ones are new bills and thry can be delayed until red..

Red = overdue. The overdue bills come with red printing. Things like "OVERDUE" across the front. Or they print the bill on pink paper and it shows through the window in the envelope.
SuperTrooper4U answered it correctly. Red or pink are the shut off notices or delinquent payments. The white are not overdue and probably the ones you paid last month. LOL I've been there.
My wife and I laugh about this.. back in the day the bill sorting went like this...
