A 17 year old migrant kid stole a car, got stopped by the police, tried to drive away and they shot and killed him, then the George Floyd type riots began. This is not the yellow vests or native French doing this.
The U.S. and maybe the West in general would have been better off just becoming a breakaway society. Our inventions and compassion have been used against us.
I think it's more complex than that. Yes, knowledge is precious. But we got a lesson in Germany in the 1920s. Berlin was basically San Francisco of the time. You could literally buy anything you wanted. They'd driven enough people into poverty that selling one's body was often one of few ways to reliably make money, and not just for the ladies. Homosexuality, trans, and all of the various kinks we hear about today from the Alphabet people were alive and well and for sale in Berlin. It was a truly filthy place. And so were the universities. If you want to know where a lot of the academic justifications for homosexuality and trans really has its roots, it was in German universities of that era. Now, if I wanted to be controversial, I'd bring up the ethnicity of the professors pushing those ideas. (They were not predominately German). But the point is that lots of terrible ideas were widespread and eagerly supported by books and scientific literature of the day, just as corrupt as it is today. And in 1934, they started burning it. They don't tell people what the German people were burning at the Nuremburg rallies, but that's what it was. They weren't just burning any book for no freaking reason. They were burning the books teaching people to be filthy degenerates.
I tend to fall on the liberal side of this issue. I don't like the idea of censorship or book burning because frankly, I think bad ideas need to be seen, discussed, and addressed, so that people understand WHY they're bad ideas. That's how you avoid having places like Bangkok and San Francisco and Amsterdam's red light district and Moscow of the late 1990s and Ukraine now pop up where the seediest, filthiest desires of people are indulged openly and tolerated.
But I absolutely understand why people get to the point where they say no more. This needs to not be produced anymore. It destroys society. I hear and understand that argument, because I can see what happens when my liberal view becomes the standard answer. The degenerates take advantage and ultimately there are always some who listen and are taken in by bad ideas. It's not a foregone conclusion that common sense will prevail.
It's weird that you think people need some sort of guide to degeneracy or prostitution, as both of these concepts predate the country of Germany by literally more than millennia.
Seeing a Library burn is depressing. Most Large scale Libraries still maintain old and comparatively Rare Books in their collections.
Who knows what went up in the flames?
Who told them to burn the library?
They wouldn't even notice a library under normal conditions. They'd be invisible. No use for them.
Someone wanted to target it.
At least that's my initial thinking on the matter.
100% agreed. This is Antifa: Euro Edition
Fahrenheit 451 was a cautionary tale guys not a manual
The cynic in me recognizes that the people doing the burning have never read the book, let alone understood it's warning.
Nor have they read "1984".

How's that Kalergi plan working out for ya?
Now they can start a new library with only woke shitty revisionist books in there, passing for science allah carte.
I see what you did there :)
It’s not like a LIBRARY is one of the thing the “migrants” would be using, or have any use for

When I see people burn libraries... I dont trust them
Nothing was stolen from the library but the Nike store was pillaged back to the Stone Age.
EU: Reconsider? Do you not read our articles?
Is this how Alexandria lost their library?
i had the same thought, fren - lol!
Eh good. Probably full of tranny books anyway
The destruction of history is never good, and assumptions have a tendency to make an ass out of you.

And how many times now has that info been wiped out and the cycle repeated?
No, I know for an absolute and objective fact that it's never good.
The Tranny thing hasn't got here yet.
