I just checked about 4 articles on this and zero of them made this claim about not being near Martha's Vineyard.
I really doubt people the Obamas can begin their normal summer vacation and people on a small island wouldn't know about it. Obama just put out summer playlist thing. I think he does that at the start of his vacation.....or at least he did in previous years.
