The problem with this is the definition of 'low level.' Mods don't all agree on what that is. Case in point, I had a thread stickied by a mod, only to have a follow up thread removed by another mod. So what's a fren to do? Hardly anybody uses the daily thread. I know I was here at least a couple of years before I even looked at that thread. I think a lot of people just skip over it or don't even notice it.
I'd like to see EVERY post that offers ZERO sauce immediately removed. And there are LOTS of those. Also, any post that teases something with no explanation. Example, a post early today about The Voice to Parliament in Oz. Sure, the Aussies knew, and we have several of them here, but most likely the vast majority here were clueless and the OP made no explanation as to what that was all about. That happens a lot.
Same with people who post hours-long videos with only a vague caption like, must see Trump say blah blah, but no time stamp, no other explanation about the video. Mods should get on posters like that and tell them to offer more than just a link to a long video that most people probably don't have the time to watch without at least some explanation as to its contents.
To your point, I mentioned in a comment the other day that I think it would be useful and productive if the mods had a rubric for evaluating posts and deciding stickyness or otherwise.
Because it does appear to be a very subjective standard, with some mods stickying certain things, and occasionally posts that promote clickbait or or very poorly titlted, for example.
Having a handy rubric for evaluating what constitutes the criteria for applying a stick, and for how long, or for vetting posts prior to stickying, this would increase the quality of the board as a whole, imo.
(Possibly the GAW collective might work on this idea; it need not be something that mods alone have to undertake or labor on.)
I particularly like what you've written here; zero sauce could (should) be a [vetted] criteria, for example, UNLESS other considerations were a factor.
I think there is plenty of room for improving quality here, by paring back on the volume a bit. This would also mean that quality posts get noticed more easily, instead of slipping into oblivion if they do not find a sticky or if the OP posts at a low-activity time band.
Mods sticky their own content with 0 updoots. Yet they say that it is algorithmic. I call bs. I have come to find there are a bunch of attention whores on this site. Me personally, I could care less about updoots and attention. I am here to learn and understand the last 2000 years of history that has been controlled by the man with the money. I’m here to find truth and this site is making it harder to do so. Used to be the best place and it’s getting to where you can find better truth on Reddit. MAKE GAW GREAT AGAIN!
Yeah, some uniformity would be good. The thread I mentioned that was stickied was about health. I was hoping to encourage the frens here to all take care of themselves, eat right, exercise, etc. I thought we could have a daily thread discussing healthy eating, offering tips and advice - those with a routine or who are in great shape helping those who are struggling -- who is doing what for exercise, what they recommend for diet, supplements, etc. The first thread had a tremendous response. I forget now how many comments, but I believe it was at least 60 + Now I see tons of threads with only 2 comments. I liked that so many people were engaged and found the topic valuable. Lots of people commented that they loved the idea of frens helping and lifting each other up in that regard.
Encouraged by the response, I posted another the next day. I even mentioned something about making it a daily thread, "with the mod's indulgence. "
Well, one mod, one I've been told has made a reputation for killing threads, said it was not Q related and axed it. Said I'd have to post that in the daily chat thread. Of course, that seemed ridiculous to me as a topic with that many responses would make a mess of the daily chat. And while I agree that it was not directly Q related, it was, imo, Q adjacent. I do believe Q would encourage all of us to be our healthy best. And with the scads of other non-Q related threads that get very few responses and engagement that somehow stay on the board, I was pretty discouraged. I mean, how can one mod see the topic as so valuable it gets a sticky, while another immediately axes it? So yes, some uniformity so that the posters can understand what is 'acceptable' and what is not would be appreciated. Just my 2 cents.
I don't mind a research wanted post if someone finds something of value & just doesn't have the time to find the timestamp.
Driving & listening to a vid/podcast & know there is something worth listening to, but you get home & have the honeydo list to get on top of. Requesting some research from pedes with more free time to find that timestamp should be okay, though it should have a specific thing for another that has spare time to help find & time stamp in the comments.
Also discussions with the relevant flare shouldn't be discouraged IMO especially if they are related to current happenings.
That said, the daily chat is a good place for various, bits of info gathering to help with a longer post.
🤣🤣🤣 This is so true. I recall seeing episodes of Gilligan's island re-runs with my mom & telling her we were doing that in school. She laughed & said it was something they did too.
My kids have not had that be a fad, they may never know the joy of the odd limbo song being played while everyone lines up for their chance to smack the floor. Looking back on it there was always that special needs kid we all loved that would drop the bar to almost 3", walk around & then lift it back up to just an inch or two below their height. We all cheered them on & loved the smile that beamed from their face when they "broke" the limbo. Good memories. I should reach out to the group homes here to see if he is still around. I see many of them out & about while shooing a few times per year. Their staff are always so quick to yell out, "Stop hugging them!!!" meaning to stop hugging me. Though I always just tell them we are old friends & will often shop with them for 15-20 minutes while my old friends tell me about what is going on in their lives & how much they either like or can't stand the staff member that is walking with us.
Some really good memories friend, thank you for stimulating them.
Thank you. Lol. I still don't see what relevance that has to my OP, unless Island Photo thought I was being low mean) in my comments? Regardless, now I know the comment refers to the limbo.
We all have our own history filled with knowledge learned along the way.
Many of the Elder Pedes had/do not understand tech effectively, where many youth likely do.
There was a meme on here about 8th grade tests a while back (early 1900s IIRC) showing how much our ancestors knew about government & what many would consider complex math today.
Sharing our collective understanding & finding facts we can all confirm has been an amazing unifying part of this movement.
Thank you. And I agree, I have learned so much from this community. That's why I was excited about the response to that thread I referred to in my earlier post. Sooo many frens joined in offering advice and their collective wisdom, as you said. I really appreciate that. We all don't have time to figure every single thing out, or research every subject, so it's great to have frens like those here who share their knowledge and experience and help each other along the way.
Sometimes research requires other minds to help filter the crud. I agree 100%. GAW used to be wayyyy better. This site helped me find clarity and understanding, but it is getting increasingly difficult to do so. I have a serious question and I get banned for asking. Censorship is getting worse by the day here. If people don’t have the patience to sift through threads due to “low information “, they shouldn’t be here. My level of learning and understanding this complex web of 2000 years of history has been stifled due to censorship on GAW. 8kun is way to hard to navigate and if I ask a question in daily chat…….I get ignored! Make GAW great again!
You're a prime candidate for Top/Daily. Then all's ya gotta do is skim new for the last 3 hrs or so. Shouldn't take long to get through those ~30 posts. Easy peasy.
@Catsfive u erased a post of mine that dealt directly with local / judicial / political corruption in MA - I was pleasant in my response - yet u blocked me ? I’m confused …. Please advise
Keep cozy frens. I know I will never have a sticky because I mostly post random news articles or reports from the other side (reddit, msm, social media, etc)
And that is ok. when it is all said and done I know Q team and Q plus know I did -MY- part. That is what matters most, do YOUR part. Maybe it is just updooting, maybe it is talking to your relatives or spouse about Q, maybe it is dropping tactical pepes on reddit, or maybe it is just talking about Jesus..your role is yours and yours alone as a digital soldier. Not everyone has the time or budget to run a podcast like x22 or a blog like decoding symbols. you are not less than them for not being able to do that kind of lifting.
One of the worst things we can do is elevate people as figureheads for our movement when we are supposed to be anons. They always fail or their true colors are revealed. That is what happened with Alex Jones, codemonkey (who I never believed in) and Sidney Powell (who misled so many patriots even in other countries) and I guarantee you it will happen with Rittenhouse (who I have never liked), it will happen with Catturd (who gets way too much credit) and so on
On the other hand, look at Lindell. How much money has he lost? Look at O'Keefe, he lost his entire company and had to start from scratch. Look at libsoftiktok, she got majorly doxxed. It is a miracle they're not all dead but those other big names skate by just fine. Why? Because THEY let them
Anons don't need cults of personality, they just handle frog business and that is it. Q GAVE YOU ALL THE TOOLS TO SNIFF OUT THE PAYTRIOTS, THE FAKERS, THE NORMIES, AND THE RATS. HONE THOSE SENSES AND DON'T LET THEM PULL ONE OVER ON YOU.
🙏🙏🙏🙏 Bravo… if you don’t like a post just move on. An open forum gives all the opportunity to share what is of importance to them. Keep the channel open and welcoming to all
Btw, Gen chat is an interesting beast. not sure when it was, but earlier in the year Gen Chat was my first port of call, and you would have a bunch of regulars posting there.
Recently, I've not visited Gen Chat for ages (did today!) and very infrequently, but its an interesting part of GAW where plenty of folks have shared personal thoughts, experiences and hopes not necessarily focused on the information and research mission of GAW.
So..... in honor of the Chief Mod mislabeling the most obvious, standard, regular posting (it's gen chat not daily chat), I'd like suggest ANOTHER regular daily post:
"the Daily Splat"
For inveterate and compulsive spammers, off-topickers and folks who generally like less focus, and who feel the need to post stuff that has no sauce, is ambiguous and/or misleading, and which gives away as little information as possible so that people cannot evaluate the value thereof.
Please interact with daily chat. Many pedes have great questions and multiple heads are always better than one. It’s always good to hash out thoughts and find clarity. Blessings to all! Maga
Also, DC needs more interaction if it is to be useful. If not, it is pointless. This is about awakening and education. If frogs cannot find help discerning truth then Gaw is pointless. I have learned so much here and it is getting harder to learn due to being banned for asking questions or being ignored due to using daily chat.
This is why we're a little bit on the "hard-ass" side re: low-quality posts. If we allow anything to clutter up /NEW, then DC won't be useful to anyone. It won't have any info in it. People miss threads all the time.
Thanks for the feedback. I admit I have posted garbage when my spirits are low. However some posts have been serious digging and I’ve had to deal with being banned due to it. I’ve also posted, gotten banned, only to find that my post was reposted by a mod. Some mods have agendas. I’ve witnessed it personally. This site is so important to me. Many intelligent individuals here with great insight. A suggestion would be to make it possible to send private/user specific messages. I only do this on my iPhone. I’m always on the go. Self employed. Have no time to sit at a pc. No sidebar. No mod mail. Very challenging. Keep up the good work Cat. You have been valuable to this movement and to the awakening.
I actually got banned once for sharing a Q post. Was told by mod, in an arrogant tone, “if we want to see the q posts we can go to them ourselves!” I was highlighting a correlation between something Biden said, that day, and the post from Q that was an exact 4 year delta. So my suggestion would be to moderate the mods. Some have an agenda and are biased to certain users. Truth is, some of us have autistic brains. We don’t communicate as eloquently as others. Dislexia is a challenge and it’s not fun when you’re treated in a negative/evil way due to an others arrogant pride.
WELL. Hmmm, that sounds bad. But... I can see your notes, frog (it's a lot of reading, if you catch my drift), and I can see the post in question, and... yeah. The mods made the right call, bud
Anyway, hey, look on the bright side. Now at least we know the mods aren't AI :)
Does anyone have information on Hugh Rodham, Hillary's father? He supposedly took over as mob boss when Al Capone was jailed. It looks as though his history was wiped clean. This trail could be a huge red pill.
Thank you, I'd like to see less of those as well. The other day I saw a post that just said "Twitter/X should be called Twix". And it got quite a few upvotes!
I don't like Reddits censorship but in the subs I used to follow, they'd remove posts like that instantly. I guess they had the help of bots, but we don't need bots, we just need clearly defined rules about what makes a post "low-effort". To make it democratically, you could make a vote poll for a couple of different rule sets.
The problem with this is the definition of 'low level.' Mods don't all agree on what that is. Case in point, I had a thread stickied by a mod, only to have a follow up thread removed by another mod. I agree about the research wanted. That's the sort of post I'd encourage, based on topic.
As an anon who recollect the eighties. I gotta say:
As someone who missed the 80s, I don't get what you mean. Also, wow! How in the world did you find such an old post, lol?
It was all the rage in schools in the 80s. Everybody limbo, how low can you go!
80s… LOL… the limbo was from the 1920s or 1930s I think! Resurrected in the 50s and the 80s, and…

I'll take a tropical location with an all-inclusive plan, if you're handing out vacays
THIS IS NOT AN AIRPORT!
haha
Definitely more like a transporter room where blasts from the past regularly appear!
(Hint: opportunity for Smarmy ScottyMar10 reference.)
Or "Spaceballs"
Apologies, they're just down-river trips in an Explorer 200
Figures. I've never so much as won a bingo game.

Fantastic Meme...👌👌😉

Agree. Mods monitor DC too because it gives us a really good handle on what you frogs are thinking.
Daily chat is soon to change into WEEKLY chat. Hopefully this will allow topics to percolate a bit better.
